Oct 8th, Tuesday 5th Annual Out in the Workplace 5:30-8PM

345 Park Avenue (Heritage Center) Building Inclusive Environments for LGBT Employees, Students and Allies. The evening will kick off with networking, followed by a panel presentation of corporate and higher-ed professionals and students, and will end with community and employment based resources for all participants. All are welcome to attend!

Oct 16th, Wednesday Practice Interview Day 14th Floor, 41 Park Row

Sign up to participate in this event and you will have an opportunity to practice your interview skills with a seasoned professional and receive feedback on how to ace the real interview. Deadline for registration is OCTOBER 1st

Oct 17th, Thursday Political Science Panel

6-8PM | RM E329, 1 Pace Plaza

The Political Science Department and Career Services office invite you to attend this great program on international politics, advocacy, and government. At the program you will hear from individuals working in these fields about how to get started in international politics, potential career paths, and ways to stand out to employers. Additionally, panelists will provide information about potential opportunities with their companies.

Come and hear how to find an internship with Warner Music Group! Representatives from the company will be discussing the culture of the organization, what they look for in candidates and how to turn your internship into a job! Light refreshments will be served.

Come hear from professionals to learn more about ways to break into the industry. Panelists will discuss information about available internship & full-time opportunities within their organizations as well as general industry specific career paths. Gain knowledge and network your way to your next internship or full time job!

Oct 24th, Thursday Hiring Tips From Employers 3:30-5PM | Lecture Hall West, 1 Pace Plaza

This program will offer students interested in careers related to Publishing, Communications, Media, and English the opportunity to hear directly from employers what they look for on a résumé, in a cover letter, during an interview, and during all phases of the hiring process. Additionally, students will learn about what they can do to help stand out to an employer. This will be a great opportunity to connect with employers for students.

Oct 29th, Tuesday Career Exploration 3-5PM | RM W613, 1 Pace Plaza

Still undecided on a college major or future career path? Come join Career Services and The Advising Center for Exploring Majors for an interactive workshop to learn more about how your individual preferences relate to various majors and careers. With your results, you will also hear how you can test them out at an internship!

They say that “service is the rent we pay for living on this planet.” Join the Career Services staff in giving back to a local NY community organization. Volunteering is an activity that not only allows you to give back and to feel good about yourself, but it can also look great on your résumé! Spots are limited! E-mail careers@pace.edu to register.

Nov 4th, Monday Dining Etiquette w/ IMA, Beta Alpha Psi & ASCEND 6-8PM | Bianco Room, 1 Pace Plaza

There are three forks in a formal place setting. Which one is the salad fork? Students will have the opportunity to learn how to properly dine in a professional setting while networking with fellow students and professionals. This evening seminar will teach students proper dining etiquette. Helpful for interviews or professional events.

Nov 6th, Wednesday Women In Technology 3:30-5PM | Bianco Room

Women are changing the face of technology and who better to learn from about the developing market than women themselves! This event is open to all! Come learn how you can be a part of this innovative female movement changing the way we think about technology.

Nov 7th, Thursday SAG-AFTRA Info Session 3-5PM | Student Union, 1 Pace Plaza

This program will be an opportunity for students to learn more about SAG-AFTRA, how to join the organization, and the benefits of membership.

Nov 12th, Tuesday Job Search Boot Camp 6-8:30PM | W617, 1 Pace Plaza

Indeed and Career Services wants you to enlist! Part workshop, part networking opportunity, the Job Search Boot Camp will cover résumé writing, professional branding, interviewing, social media and networking, current hiring trends, and job search resources. Dinner will be provided.
