The Legal Helpline offers free legal information on a number of different issues, and also provides referrals. Brief messages can be left 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Attorneys staffing the Legal Helpline return phonecalls during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Anyone seeking legal information and resources may call to speak to an attorney or leave a message. Calls are returned within 24 hours or the next business day.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO MEET WITH AN ATTORNEY?
The PWJC Legal Helpline attorneys provide legal information and referrals by telephone only. If appropriate, callers may be referred to another PWJC unit for an in-person consultation.

Callers should speak clearly and
spell their name leave a safe number and indicate the best time for a return call
If it is not safe to leave a message on voicemail, this should be indicated.
