EDUCATION
Master of Architecture
Texas Tech University
Bachelor of Architecture
Texas Tech University
Jerel is a native Texan who discovered his passion for architecture through his enduring love of sketching and art. His prolific freehand sketching has not only allowed him to formulate and refine design ideas, but it has also been a very effective and collaborative way to communicate with colleagues and clients.
He has worked on a variety of projects across the world from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia to downtown Houston and he enjoys the challenges of navigating between the different scales of projects. Jerel is a strong advocate for learning and incorporating the latest technologies that create new and efficient ways to present and deliver projects. He has been instrumental in expanding our firm’s modeling capabilities through both digital and physical media. His background in design, modeling and rendering allows him to efficiently meet project requirements and continually exceed expectations. A strong collaborator, Jerel enjoys being part of a team that continually challenges and improves the design process.
Jerel came to Page while completing his Master of Architecture degree and certificate in Urban and Community Design at Texas Tech University. Jerel was exposed to strong mentorship as an intern, and he in turn carries on that example to young architects joining our team.
“What is amazing at Page is you work with so many creative people, covering numerous disciplines, that bring a can-do attitude to contribute to solving problems from so many different perspectives.”
Elena Bollas, pe
Associate / Mechanical Engineer
OFFICE
Austin
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science, Architectural Engineering
The University of Texas at Austin
Elena’s parents first realized her love for engineering and construction around the age of 2 when she began building elaborate Tinker-Toy structures while watching Muppets Construction videos on repeat. So, there was little surprise Elena ended up in an Architectural Engineering program and was accepted into the University of Texas at Austin. From there she found her way into the world of Mechanical engineering and a home on Page’s MEP team.
As a mechanical engineer, Elena has worked on a variety of projects, from commercial high-rise office in her home city of Austin, Texas, to large medical centers in Germany. Variety in project types and climate has allowed her to gain experience in many types mechanical systems such as VRF, advance humidity control, central plant design, and data center containment strategy. “No two projects are alike, and as clients focus more on improving their building’s environmental impact it pushes us to stay on top of state-of-the-art technology and ever-changing code requirements. Constantly learning and improving is just part of the day, every day,” Elena shares.
Elena’s comfort in meeting and working with people has really helped her find her stride in collaborating across disciplines and knows the value of clear and timely communication within project teams. “When a problem arises, the answer is never ‘No, we cannot make this work’, the approach should be ‘We need to look at this differently, and here are some options’. Creative problem solving comes from creative people and is the root of engineering. Elena states, “Our opportunity, and what is amazing at Page, is you work with so many creative people, covering numerous disciplines, that a bring a can-do attitude to contribute to solving problems from so many different perspectives.”

EDUCATION
Master of Architecture
Harvard University Graduate School of Design
Bachelor of Science in Architecture
The University of Texas at Arlington
Ricardo Muñoz doesn’t hold still. This Page design architect is also a professor at his alma mater, The University of Texas at Arlington School of Architecture, both of design studios and BIM courses. And, in a single year, his work was selected for three juried exhibits, he was awarded a traveling fellowship by the Dallas Center of Architecture and was asked to speak at the Texas Society of Architects 75th annual convention.
He specializes in a variety of project types from Civic/Government to Healthcare and Corporate/Commercial, and brings an equally varied background to his work. Prior to joining Page, Ricardo worked in the Northeast and in Europe on many project types varying in scale from a large world-class museum in Qatar to single family residences on Martha’s Vineyard. This enables him to quickly understand the cultural influences and likely objectives of many Page clients.
“Hard work and good faith will take you exactly where you need to be in your career. You have to be willing to put in the work, but here at Page if you want to learn you will have an endless supply of mentors that will guide you along the way and help you achieve your goals.”
Victoria Cordero, leed green associate
Senior Associate / Communications Engineer
OFFICE
Austin
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering
Texas Tech University
Victoria started working for Page after graduating from Texas Tech University. She has always been interested in learning new things and what makes equipment and systems work. This is how she ended up working with the newly formed communications systems team at Page. With a degree in mechanical engineering, she had a variety of directions she could have gone in the STEM career path. However, working in IT during college, communications systems stood out to her as a career path. Since graduating she has worked on several projects in both the government and commercial sectors. She likes that her knowledge in communications systems continues to evolve as technology evolves which keeps each project complex, interesting, and different.
Shortly after arriving at Page, Victoria earned her LEED Green Associate and is currently studying for her Professional Engineering (PE) exam. Her goal after passing her PE exam is to pursue her Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) through Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI), which is the premier certification for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) design.
“ I recommend when recent graduates are considering a firm to work for, they need to look for project types that excite them, office cultures that challenge them to constantly learn new skills, and office leadership that is transparent about project goals.”
Michael Reilly, aia
Associate Principal / Project Director
OFFICE
Denver
EDUCATION
Master of Architecture
University of Colorado Denver
Bachelor of Science, Finance
Boston College
Michael started working for Page during graduate school. During this time, he was brought onto one of the project teams to build a series of physical models, before transitioning to help a project architect oversee the construction of a 17-story housing project. He accredits this real-world experience as an invaluable supplement to his graduate course studies. Michael then chose to stay with Page after graduation, and has been here for the past 9 years.
Michael’s background is a bit unique because he did not study architecture as an undergrad student, but rather studied finance. He worked as an analyst for a couple years before returning to graduate school for his Master of Architecture. His unique background has put him in an incredible position to leverage both of those skills, and Michael has evolved to a project management role much earlier than may be typical. While some days he is drafting proposal letters, project budgets and staffing plans, other days, he is collaborating with other Page designers, coordinating drawings with consultants, and exploring a design in virtual reality.
“At Page I have found mentors that encourage and uplift me, projects that inspire me, and opportunities to do things I did not even know existed while I was in school. Most importantly, I have found a place that values my voice, and listens to my ideas at every level of my career.”
Morgan Aven, aia
Senior Associate / Academic Project Planner
OFFICE
Houston
EDUCATION
Master of Architecture
Texas Tech University
Bachelor of Science in Architecture
Texas Tech University
Morgan attended her first college course at the age of 4. To be fair, her father was the professor teaching it, and she was there because daycare fell through. But it was observing his enthusiasm for helping his students succeed that gave her the first step (of many) into a career of supporting higher education clients accomplish their missions through impactful designs.
As an Associate Architect at Page, Morgan has worked on a wide range of campus buildings, from a 1,200-bed residence hall to STEM buildings and technical laboratories. No matter the scope or program, she works collaboratively with clients to fully address their needs, whether promoting/enhancing their larger mission or managing their day-to-day needs for a project.
Morgan’s other responsibilities as an Associate Architect have her bridge the gap between the client and the Page design team. Throughout the lifetime of a project, she will wear any number of hats. She could be designing innovative spaces to support student success in the morning, only to spearhead a project’s construction in the afternoon. No matter the task at hand, Morgan undertakes it with the knowledge that her efforts will support Higher Education’s broader mission.
Beyond the Office
At Page, we work hard, but we play harder. Our people are interesting, dynamic and fun. Our people are generous, giving back to their communities. Our capacity to recruit great talent revolves around the appeal of our people so the process is self-perpetuating.
Each Page office hosts local events to keep the fun rolling all year long. From rooftop happy hours, familyfun Halloween parties, and Thanksgiving potlucks to chili cook-offs, indoor office mini-putt putt and human foosball; there’s always something exciting taking place each month.
The pull of good, talented people is complemented by a nurturing employee environment, and by a sense of empowerment that leads to loyalty, stability and significant accomplishments. Page has benefited through the years from entrepreneurial skills and proven success in cultivating new generations of leadership.
