k GMAIL k Title the Email. Always title it with something that is significant to your reader. Not “Important” or “Information,” but “Information Regarding the Meeting” Placement is Key. Make sure your opening sentence gets your main point across. Grammar. Just Grammar. An email is a professional piece of writing. There should not be abbreviations, contractions, all capitals, or texting phrases. Be Brief. Be Polite. If your message is longer than two paragraphs, it should be shortened. Say please and thank you.
