The Arts Initiative at Palmetto Bluff fosters the pursuit of artistic innovation and expression through a diverse curation of artists, craftsmen, musicians, makers, and writers. Through year-round programming, unfolding across Palmetto Bluff’s unspoiled natural canvas, The Arts Initiative creates a dialogue between art, the community, and the beauty of the Bluff itself.
This year, we are further expanding the roster of talent, taking inspiration from a crosssection of elements designed to tell the many stories unfolding at the Bluff. Through a collection of inspired events, an ever-evolving Artist in Residence program, makers markets, and fine art shows, the personalities of artists of all types will bring the spirit and culture of the South to the Bluff, our members, and our guests every day.

Through year-round programming, The Arts Initiative cultivates an enduring bond linking art, the Lowcountry community, and the beauty of Palmetto Bluff. This initiative orchestrates exchanges between artists, Palmetto Bluff property owners, and visitors, attracting over 3,000 participants annually. These individuals actively immerse themselves in artistic experiences like workshops, pop-up exhibitions, exclusive events, and visits to FLOW Gallery + Workshop. These interactions unfold against the backdrop of Palmetto Bluff’s unspoiled natural environment, resulting in a unique connection to the sponsors’ brand and an exceptionally distinctive program.

CELEBRATING THE ART AND PEOPLE OF THE LOWCOUNTRY
The Arts Initiative’s annual family-friendly festival, FLOW FEST, will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2024. The afternoon will feature classic hits from local fan-favorites, Deas Guyz, tasty food and beverages from local vendors, along with an artisan market featuring the artists of FLOW Gallery + Workshop, artists from current and past Artist in Residence programs, and much more.
EVENT BENEFICIARY :
The festival will benefit a deserving local non-profit organization. FLOW FEST 2023 raised over $5,000 that was donated to Second Helpings of the Lowcountry.
