« Schultz Cultural Arts Hall
Welcome to the Oshman Family JCC’s 2013–2014 performing arts season at our beautiful Albert and Janet Schultz Cultural Arts Hall. Our intimate theatre has quickly become a destination venue for the highest caliber of artists and performers. This year, we are thrilled to showcase our gorgeous new Steinway concert piano that will further enhance our upcoming musical performances. Among the celebrated artists gracing our stage are beloved opera stars Frederica von Stade and Laurie Rubin; the fantastic Klezmer group The Red Hot Chachkas; and an incredible spring concert with jazz legend Branford Marsalis and his quartet. For families, we’re bringing back our extraordinary symphonic fairy tale Peter and the Wolf and premiering a new original musical production of Hansel and Gretel, both with multilingual narration. The Silicon Valley Jewish Film Festival will screen some wonderful movies, including a Fiddler on the Roof sing-along with special guest Chaim Topol (Tevye) himself! And be sure to enjoy the fantastic art exhibits we’re hosting on campus throughout the year. Join us for a season of illumination, inspiration and delight.
