SDG offers free certified peer recovery coaching, a proven solutions-driven approach, to those in Culpeper, Fauquier, Rappahannock, Madison, and Orange counties. SDG helps clients find healthy replacements for their destructive addiction. In addition, SDG helps clients find and access community resources that are available to help them make this transition successfully. SDG has an office in Culpeper for secure and private meetings and will travel within the 5-county area to meet those with transportation challenges.

We provide compassionate care and emotional healing for individuals and families struggling with loss and pain such as the death of a family member or pet, chronic illness, divorce, caregiving, and more. We offer virtual and in-person support through individual counseling, support groups, and inspirational studies. Our services are free.

SpirtWorks Foundation operates Recovery Community Centers in Williamsburg and Warrenton, peer-operated centers that provide communitybased recovery support. Individuals and families do not live at the centers, but rather can access resources to help build recovery capital through advocacy training, recovery information and resource mobilization, mutual-help or peer-support organization meetings, social activities, and other community-based services.

The materials offered through The 5 Needs are designed to show the importance of and value in learning to identify our personal needs while exploring healthy ways to meet these needs. Meeting our needs can be simple or complex. The materials can help uncover some causes for a variety of behavioral and mental health difficulties. The 5 areas we focus on are Staying Alive, Love and Belonging, Freedom and Boundaries, Power, and Fun, providing a framework to build on as we work with individuals in therapeutic settings as well as in classroom settings or afterschool programs, camps, and in-home services. Training, consultations, and materials are offered.

Specialties include substance abuse, adolescent/millennial issues, family conflict using varied treatment modalities (DBT, play therapy, EMDR) to address the needs of clients. Case management and care coordination are strong aspects of the support clients can expect. Youth for Tomorrow Behavioral Health Services*

We diagnose and treat a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, and panic symptoms, post-traumatic stress, anger issues, obsessive-compulsive issues, grief and loss, selfharm, issues related to attachment, co-occurring disorders, aggression, attention deficits and other behavioral concerns, as well as familial and relational issues. Treatments include play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and behavioral intervention. Psychiatric Assessments for Medication Management are available. We accept most insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare.

ASSISTED LIVING

Assisted living provides a special combination of residential housing, personalized support services, and healthcare. These services are designed for the individual needs of those who require help with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, etc.), but do not require the skilled medical care provided in a nursing home. Various services and levels of care are available, but most locations provide assistance with daily activities, meals, laundry, and housekeeping.
