"The Pursuit of Happiness" By Monique Lang So much of our energy and our focus is on the pursuit of happiness. It is alluded to in many spiritual traditions, it is in the declaration of independence of the United States, it is a billion dollar industry of books and workshops that tells us what to do and how to be to find happiness. Happiness is something to be achieved to be okay.

But what is it? My favorite definition is from His Holiness the Dalai Lama who says that happiness is a state of mind and not the absence of pain.

In this pursuit of happiness, we denigrate pain, sorrow, loneliness, disappointment.

Those are important feelings as well and they need to be honored. I am not talking about getting mired in feelings that prevent us from living a good life, I am suggesting that we would actually be healthier and happier if we allowed for those ‘negative’ feelings to have their place.

I believe that the pressure to be happy actually makes some of us discontent because we are not happy, or not happy enough, whatever that means to each of us, and therefore there is something wrong with either us or our life and we should fix it.

A wise teacher of mine gave me the homework of noticing any time I was happy. It could be watching a sun rise, seeing a flower, being with a loved one, watching a movie, taking a hot shower. As I began to do this exercise I was able to allow my sad, lonely, hurt, disappointed, slighted feelings to be there as well noticing the ebb and flow: happy/not happy. No judgment. Noticing, acknowledging.

About Monique: Originally trained in psychoanalysis and Gestalt, I am certified in Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Comprehensive Resource Model and Past Life Regression. I am certified in both Reiki and Shamanic practices and ceremonies. In addition I have been a student of Meditation for over 20 years.

"Dimension Hopping" by Jill Mattson

Modern science has finally caught up to Ancient Shamans and Intuitives throughout time, in acknowledging that there are many other dimensions surrounding us.

Higher dimensions are all around us, some only inches from our touch. Most people cannot sense or reach alternate dimensions in their ordinary lives, however, it is possible to contact and even impact dimensions beyond our own!

Let's backup a bit. I have read a lot of the cutting edge, higher Physics material discussing the scientific, theoretical basis for the existence of higher dimensions. It is "hairy" and difficult stuff. After much effort, I believe the scientific case boils down to Page | 11

this: at the simplest level, scientists have found that it is necessary to postulate extra dimensions (as many as 12 or 13 total dimensions) to reconcile the math and make sense of the best current theories on the origin of, and nature of our universe. Said differently, after hundreds of years of experiment and reflection by the best minds in history, we have arrived at a view of the universe that says there are far more dimensions than the three space and one time "D's" that we all know.

In junior high science and geometry we learned about the world's dimensions and the theory behind them. The three space dimensions that we are familiar with can be referred to as length (L), width (W) and height (H). If you want to know the volume of a cube you multiply the length of one side times the width of another side times the height of the third side: Volume = L x W x H. Each of the linear dimensions are one "D" - think of a line. Multiply two linear dimensions and you get 2-"D" or a plane. When you multiply three linear dimensions as above you get our 3-"D" world. We also often add time as the fourth dimension because all of the 3-D objects move and interact "in time".

It’s an interesting exercise to contemplate the possibility of beings who might live in a lower dimensional reality. For a 2-"D" universe we have Flatland, a famous world where the inhabitants lived on a sheet of paper. We could put our face inches above the Flatland world and the people living there would have no clue of our existence. Seems simple right - well that is exactly how our 3 D universe appears to beings who reside in a higher dimensional reality. Only special humans have been able to reach the higher dimensions throughout time. Mystics, clairvoyants, Jesus and Buddha, all achieved their wonders by tapping into a higher dimensional realm.

I would argue that our "future selves" reside in a higher dimension. You have probably heard that advanced beings "vibrate at a higher frequency" than we do; we just cannot detect them. I believe this is just another way of explaining the presence of higher dimensions and the presence of a vast unseen world with divine beings that we know exist. (My mother and my guardian Angel are no doubt standing right next to me) watching me writing,) Today it is well documented that people skilled at meditation can attain powerful states of mind to access special information. They obtain energy and information from higher dimensions. You can gain energy, hence power and information – answers to your questions, divine insights, work miracles.

Energy can flow through dimensions – in both directions! One can go to higher dimensions and retrieve information – just as the Ancient Shaman did while in trance states for the tribe. One can also go to other dimensions and leave information.

I have always been very intuitive, and as a result many times I experienced a very disturbing feeling, only later to clairvoyantly see snippets of a past life (presumably going on now in another dimension), which was the root cause of my bad feelings. For example, drown in a previous life? Chances are you are terrified of water next time around. There is bleed through from one dimension to another. It benefits us now to bless ourselves in the past and future – and in other dimensions. It is in the interest of the future, "higher dimensional you" to help with a current problem that you are struggling with in today's 3-D world. This makes me think that prayer energy creates a porthole to higher realms. When I pray, my energy reaches “future me" and future Page | 12

loved ones who can send back energy to help me. Bless the past and future and all your family and friends (and not-so-friends) with forgiveness and gratitude.

Gathering energy from other dimensions is known as mediumship. What I am talking about could be called reverse mediumship. You can leave energy in higher dimensions that is beneficial for yourself and others. The implications and potential benefits of this "dimension visiting" are staggering.

As an example of how energy can reach across dimensions I call on my background in Music and Sound Vibrational Healing: music can transfer energy through resonance and harmony; and music can interact with and alter subtle energy. Listening to peaceful, uplifting music alters our brainwaves, our emotions even our physicality. Our musical preferences are carried forward from an old life to a new one. The Ancients knew these things as they used Music for a powerful force in all spiritual aspects of their lives, and as conduit to other dimensions.

Humanity is experiencing a quantum shift this year in every facet of our lives. The end result of this acceleration of energy, vibration, and consciousness will be an extremely positive event for everyone. Unfortunately, due to the challenges surfacing in people’s lives to be healed, many do not realize the opportunity at hand. Instead of empowering their hopes and dreams during this unique opportunity, people are being overwhelmed with fear and feelings of helplessness. For this reason, the Company of Heaven is asking Lightworkers around the world to redouble our efforts. We are One, and we have the ability to serve as surrogates on behalf of our sisters and brothers in the Family of Humanity. We are being called to action! The time for us to accept the responsibility of being our sister’s and brother’s keepers is NOW! I know that many Lightworkers are also feeling overwhelmed. The year 2010 is being heralded as the Year of Manifestation by the Legions of Light serving this planet. After decades of tenacious work by millions of Lightworkers in every conceivable location on Earth, we have reached a critical mass, a tipping point, that will allow the patterns of perfection for the New Earth to begin physically manifesting. Pay attention to the positive things that are being brought to your awareness and you will confirm this for yourself. Do not focus on the bombardment of negativity that is designed to polarize people and to perpetuate fear and separation.

Focus instead on the evidence of positive changes that are happening everywhere.

Where your attention is, there you are. Empower only what you want to co-create in your life not the things that you do not want.

I AM One with ALL Life, and I communicate openly with the Angelic and Elemental Kingdoms as well.

A Buddhist Teacher on Anger by Melinda Johnston

One day the Buddha visited a village. As he was greeted by the people, an angry and rude speaking young man began insulting him…

“You have no right teaching others” he shouted. “You are as stupid as everyone else.

You are nothing but a fake.”

The Buddha remained calm, and did not take the insults personally. Instead he engaged the young man with an insightful question, “Tell me, if you buy a gift for someone and that person does not take it, to whom does the gift belong?”

The man was surprised by the question, nevertheless answered, “It would belong to me because I bought the gift.”

"Owning Our Power and Using It" By Mama Donna Henes Decades ago, I was invited to perform a Winter Solstice Ceremony on Baker’s Beach in San Francisco. I was a visitor in town on my own without my usual network of celebrants. So, in preparation for this event I held a meeting at the women’s bookstore to stimulate interest and to gather a central tribe of facilitators to help set up and drum in the ritual.

After my presentation, a tough looking woman stood up and asked in an overtly belligerent manner, “Are men allowed?” “Yes,” I answered. “The Winter Solstice is a global holiday, a universal event, which is not just for women.”

“But men always take over,” she replied angrily. “Well, why do you let them?” I countered.

Why, indeed? In all of my 40 plus years of leading rituals, I have never had one experience of a man trying to usurp my leadership or sabotage a ceremony. As far as I am concerned, any man who honors Mother Earth and the female forces of the universe, who can chant, “Reverence to Her” with earnest intentions, is very welcome in my rituals in celebration of what I call “Celestially Auspicious Occasions.”

Now if this were to be a Blood Rites Ritual, a Queening Ceremony or a Sister Spirit Support Group, obviously not. There is a very legitimate place and a deep need for women-only space, but a cosmic occurrence is not one of them.

In these rituals, the power of the Feminine Divine is palpable and women and men alike fall into Her thrall. This is true power. Not the sort of bully power that is expressed through anger, nor from the need to dominate others, but power that wells up from deep within and connects us with the Holy Source of Life.

As overtly assertive and confrontational as that San Francisco sister was, she clearly saw herself as a victim, helpless in the face of perceived male domination. But, it is too late and the world conditions are too dire for us to hold on to a self-image of being weak and powerless. We are definitely not the weaker sex. Slower, maybe, but certainly not weaker and definitely not helpless.

Men are not really the problem. The patriarchy is the problem. This hierarchal power system, based on insatiable greed and the need to control executed by aggression, domination, exploitation and terrorism, is the problem. And it is the problem of women and men alike. Moreover, it is the problem of every living plant, animal, person and resource on this planet. It is a threatening, dangerous problem for Mother Earth, Herself.

I firmly believe that women, especially women of a certain age, will be the changing force of society, and that we possess the vision, the wisdom, the experience, and the wherewithal to lead the charge for change toward sustainability, sanity, and peace.

However we cannot do it alone.

All people — ALL people — need to be involved if we are going to truly transform our attitudes and cultural ethos. Making the world a better place has got to be a fully participatory project if we are not just dreaming or talking through our hats. But we women have to see ourselves as leaders. We need to stand in our center, embrace our power, and be willing to use it. We need to speak our truth, walk our talk, and model our intentions. We have to accept and exercise our own authority. That is, we need to own the authorship of our own destiny. The responsibility is no one else’s. It is ours.

The patriarchal powers-that-be have created a complete mess. Clearly, it is up to us women to roll up our sleeves and get busy putting life back in order again. If there is any hope at all for healing this planet and all who live upon it, that hope is us.

Personally, I do not think that it is a coincidence that just as the planet teeters on the very brink of destruction, there comes along generations of fiery, accomplished, clever, competent, ambitious women at the height of our supremacy to whip it back into shape.

And the sheer enormity of our numbers means that we can actually achieve the critical mass necessary to make a real and lasting difference. Let us harness our impressive energy: our purity of purpose, our passion, our heartfelt compassion, and our enormous power, and let us direct it toward creating a safe, sane, sustainable, sublime, and peaceful world for us all. The future is in our very capable hands.

I hereby call on women everywhere to take a stand and use our vast stores of wisdom, experience, creativity, and chutzpah to do something positive, each in our own unique and inimitable way, toward creating a better future for us all. Not out of a misplaced sense of duty, but because it is a joy and an honor to do so. Because we can do no less.

MBO TO FIND MEDICINE IN STORE This is one of my own. I had a list my wife gave me for items to buy at Kroger’s. I always request MBOs for my drive to and from the store, and to find all the items on the list easily. Many times a store employee will pop up in the aisle I’m searching to find some obscure item to assist me. Last on the list, this time, was a fever blister medicine for my wife. It would be in the pharmacy section of the store. As I approached that section, I saw one of the employees with a cart about to begin stocking. I asked her where to find it, and she immediately pulled it out of the shopping cart she was using! I told her what great service she had given me, and I thought what a nice, simple MBO, shortened my time in the store.

MBO TO ARRIVE IN TIME FOR MOVIE Lee writes: Tom, I love asking for an MBO for a time crunch when I need it. We decided to go to the movies on short notice. The theater we were going to is about 20 minutes from our home, factor in parking, buying our tickets, Popcorn, and getting into the theater and finding a seat all before the movie started was a big MBO considering we had about 1/2 hour to showtime. "The Eclipse Season - January 2019" By Joelle O'Toole aka Waxy The year begins on a sombre tone, celebrations will be tamer and less elaborate than usual. There may be some how can ignore the Sun meeting up with Saturn from 1st to 3rd January, in fact indulging in excess is possibly only way to avoid it. So, those prone to extremes, may be more so, but overall most will have their eye on the year ahead, with the consideration of how to make it a productive and successful one.

It could be my own eyes, from my environment, but it seemed that 2018 was a particularly difficult year for most. Whether we can consider that to be a result of both Saturn and Pluto being in Capricorn, and the fact that Chiron in early Aries was having a little show down with Saturn for a large part of the year, it's hard to say. Maybe having 6 months of the year taken down by inner planet retrogrades; with Venus and Mars adding to Mercury's regular backward parade, also played a large part in slowing down progress and enjoyment for many. {PS – if any of you really loved 2018 and had a great year, I would be very interested to hear about it – please do email me at: waxlobster@hotmail.com} The first Eclipse of the year will be at 1:29am on Sunday 6th January – as always it will effect those with a birthday falling around this date the most, or those whose birthday is at the opposite end of the zodiac; around 8th July (give or take a couple of days either side). The is a New Moon eclipse and a partial Solar Eclipse (mostly visible in Russia) which signifies new beginnings.

This will be a very interesting year for those who have planets affected by 15º Capricorn, particularly those who begin their year at this time (if your birthday is around 6th January).

The Sun and Moon fall close to Saturn at 12º Capricorn and close enough to Pluto at 20º Capricorn, this is, in effect a taste of what is to come later, as these planets dancer closer together and then step apart once more. They don't actually meet up in the sky until year 2020 and it's fair to expect all manner of change when they do.

As this particular eclipse links up the chasm between them in the sky, there will be a sense of change in the air. A nice aspect to Neptune in Pisces softens the energy and gives a kind of ambitious flavour to the week.

Although there is a feeling that fate and destiny are irrevocable forces, Neptune brings the potential for dreams, creativity and the imagination to provide an uplifting outlet.

When WW2 broke Saturn and Pluto were in an exact aspect – a hard square – those who lived through this time will talk about how this time brought out the best in people though too.

In a world which has been racing into a materialistic, technological age, in which the rich and poor divide is once more becoming more pronounced, something does need to give. There are all manner of possible eventualities and ways that big changes are due over the next 2 years, but I think there is a sense of inevitability about the fact that they will occur.

The last time Saturn and Pluto met up in this manner; was in 1982 in Libra and I think it's fair to say that this marked the beginning of capitalism as we now know it. The start of 'the throwaway society' when things began to be made with less artistry and integrity, so that they could be more quickly replaced and profited upon. What kind of an era will be see the beginning of 2020? Well I shall look deeper into that later in the year, in the meantime know that the planets show change, but it's the people on the planet who dictate the kinds of change that will occur….

As an interesting side note, the last time Saturn and Pluto met up in the same sign; Capricorn, it was 1518. The treaty of London at this time created a peace union between all the countries in Europe and a promise to defend one another against attacks from other Empires! So all of you Leos who are born on the first day of your sign (over the cusp from Cancer) will definitely feel this quite intensely!

On the plus side, energy will be high during this Full Moon. Venus and Jupiter will be having a jolly old time in Sagittarius, lifting spirits, encouraging the more upbeat and brighter side of life is appreciated. Jupiter is all about fun and laughter on the upside, and congenial, peacemaking Venus does tend to bring out this side in Jupiter, especially whilst traversing through the sign of Sagittarius which Jupiter rules and correlates to.

There is, however also a square to Mars in Aries in the mix here. Now if you wanted to do something daring, random and sporty, this is a great time to most enjoy such an activity. If though, you are in more restrained environment, hoping that disputes don't break out and tempers don't flare….well I'm afraid you'll need to wish hard. Mars is Aries is fast, reactive and armed with great energy and drive. Jupiter in Sagittarius, is over opinionated, zealous and can be quite combative. There is only so much Venus can mitigate with pleasantries when there is a Full Moon in the mix also.

This eclipse could bring about some explosive energy, Uranus about to leave Aries for the final time, may well wish to make it's mark through fire and intensity. It is at a square to the eclipse point and there is a potential for; natural disasters, uprisings and disputes on small and large scales to come about as a result of this eclipse.

It is important to note that eclipses can be activated for up to 6 months before and after their events. Planets touching on the areas in the sky where the eclipse falls at all time in coming months, could re-activate them. So, for this one in particular, when Mars makes a square to the 0'51 Leo point from 0'51 Taurus, we could find that all that I cited Page | 30

above is reactivated for a day or so. Sometimes the reactivation points are stronger, so 15th and 16th February 2019 could be dates to be cautious. Days to lie low, book in a massage, or cozy time this weekend perhaps.

Overall it is rather an intense beginning to the year. The New Year always begins with the Sun in Capricorn but this year, having the two heavy weights (Saturn and Pluto) traversing up and down, activating eclipses and hitting the personal planets makes it all a whole lot more intense.

For those of you who are ambitious and want to make waves in your career, there is a good potential in fact in these areas. Things are a little more rigid and conservative, but hard work is more notably rewarded at this time also.

Jupiter in Sagittarius suggests a more global approach at this time. Travel is not necessary for the world to connect up any more. New areas of commerce and different ways of trading are increasing in popularity and will continue trending when Uranus moves back into Taurus on 6th March 2019.

Book Review by Janice McNamara Most of us dance through life creating here and there. Nothing seems to form deep, meaningful roots or show true purpose of life. "The Library of Porthologos is an Interdimensional Portal by Dianne Robbins" Good morning. I am Mikos, and my entourage and I have been awaiting you on the doorstep to the Library of Porthologos, where the white alabaster steps twinkle with the sparks of embedded crystals and diamonds, leading into the great halls of our library located inside the Earth's vast interior.

Today we will take you on a tour through our halls, and show you what a true library in your future will look like. Your future libraries will look like ours, as ours is the model that all libraries will replicate. We will start with the outer grounds, as there are inner grounds too. The outer grounds are lush with grasses, flowers, bushes, and trees; and there are circular clearings with soft benches and lounging chairs in the center, accompanied by small, round, tall tables to set your accouterments on. There are small springs of waterfalls and fountains in these enclosures, for our water is alive and in a full state of consciousness that sings. Yes, our water sings, and as you lounge in our secluded enclosure you are sung to by the water of life, as it sprays from our fountains Page | 39

with melodies of deep love that harmonizes and balances all the cells in your body.

From this state of deep peacefulness and harmony, we sit and relax at intervals during our "work" day.

And now we go inside the Library of Porthologos, and walk up the crystal staircase, where the door opens up into the Universe. Yes, the Library is multidimensional! As you enter, you see the Milky Way Galaxy floating around you, and can glance into the heavens beyond, which encompasses our whole Universe. You see the stars and suns and other solar systems revolving around our Central Sun; and you feel part of "All That Is", as indeed you are.

And yes, there is more. The Library of Porthologos is an Interdimensional Portal that can take you to wherever you project your thoughts and intentions to go and see "first hand". Yes, it is magic on the surface, but here it is natural and real and accepted as part of life, as indeed it is. It allows our eyes to see the wonders of life that surrounds us, not just a blank, dark, or cloudy sky overhead, interspersed with tiny, far distant stars, that your surface folk hardly look up to anymore, as their gaze is directed more to their ground struggle for survival.

So, we are fully inside now, and you witness the wonders of our Universe through your inner sight, which now becomes your natural outer sight. As you begin to walk through the door, magic enfolds you, and magical sights, sounds and senses embrace you. You are fully energized and vibrant, and your cells sing to the sounds of the crystals embedded throughout the library, for our library is all crystals and jewels, all in harmony, and all in tune, carrying the rhythm and beat of the Earth, the Milky Way Galaxy, and Universe. Your cells chime to this universal beat. Ah, you are in ecstasy!

There is color and light all around you, and all the Beings you meet radiate this great light and unconditional love coming from the core of our Central Sun directly into the heart of the library's portal. You feel this love intensely and are in love with all around you and in love with everyone, everywhere. You are truly "alive" at last. You bless the flame of life within you, and proceed into the vastness of Porthologos.

You see people everywhere—walking, talking, studying, sitting, reclining, dreaming, and just soaking in the vibrations of peace. Everywhere there are flowers of great vibrancy and fountains and pools of water spilling forth their choruses of song. You look around and see secluded alcoves interspersed throughout the vast halls, with the most ergonomically structured chairs beckoning you to recline upon them. You find one calling to you, and you sit down and experience a connection to this chair that tunes you to its vibration so that you are connected to the mainframe of the internal computer in the library. You are, so to speak, "wired up" with the wireless wires, and fully connected to the operating system, which you operate with your thoughts and feelings, and which will take you anywhere you "wish" to go in our galaxy. You navigate with your mind, using your thoughts as your directional compass for coordinates of latitude and longitude. And it is so natural that you marvel at its simplicity and naturalness. And you travel in consciousness, and explore our Galaxy and Universe "first hand" and for the first time in your fully conscious human state.

This is yet another aspect of what our library offers to its visitors, along with its crystal slides of all recorded history of our entire Universe. And you are here through the vibrational frequency of our words, as you read them and envision the sights in your Page | 40

"imagination". We welcome you, and invite you to enter at any time. Just call to us for entry, as our call is always going out to you. I AM MIKOS, and I am here to guide you personally through our library whenever you call.

You don't need a "library card", as your identification is inscribed in the DNA of your cells. We await your visit.

"What Is A Life Of Purpose? By Michelle J. Howe"

The word “purpose” is a big word that easily means different things to different people.

We are all privy to defining this word as we see fit. To me, this word serves us best when we assign a BIG meaning of depth and strength to it. To live “a life of purpose” mean we are guided by higher principles and truths that fuel actions that lead to inner fulfillment.

I see many ideas of purpose out there ranging from shallow and simplistic, materialistic or grander humanitarian. None are wrong and yet, some definitely have more depth.

To me, a LIFE lived with PURPOSE has DEPTH. Choosing depth gives our life direction, meaning and drive. Choosing depth feeds real success along with the joy and fulfillment that comes from thinking, being and contributing in big or small ways that impact the world. In the end – one way or another – we leave behind what we were, what we did and the imprint of our very presence.

The array of purpose available in life includes: To be skinny.

To marry prince charming.

To have a beautiful wedding.

To have a successful career.

To drive a Mercedes.

To have a fun life.

To be a rock star.

To be a millionaire or rich.

To be truthful and authentic.

To love unconditionally.

To support and love my family.

To share skills and talents with others.

To be a loving father or mother.

To make a difference in the world.

To be proactive.

To step forward without fear.

Some of these “purposes” are shallow and the others are not. Do YOU note the difference? I want you to see and feel the difference.

There is an error – a lack of insight when we choose shallow for our life.

This is a big error because “shallow” does not provide long-term fuel for the journey.

Shallow – to me – focus on getting something – always in pursuit of it – coming from a place of lack.

In my humble opinion, it is an error to be single-minded on a drive for superficial measures of happiness – based on driven desires of possession – for more money, happiness, fun, success, etc…

Life is not about possessing anything. Life is about BEING something – being and doing – receiving and giving to impact one another in positive ways and beyond anything superficial.

A choice of “shallow” can be easily smashed to bits by life situations and realities. To boot – what happens when we fail to achieve the “shallow” that is on our radar? We all know this answer. We suffer emotionally – devastated, unworthy and unfulfilled.

Depth – in contrast – involves giving and receiving in meaningful ways. This type of purpose fuels a great life of fulfillment – a win at every turn.

My best advice for you today is to choose a BIG and DEEP purpose for yourself. Know the key drivers that give you and your life meaning. Make sure your purpose and those drivers resonate to spark you! Never lose sight of the fact that you are here to contribute in some way – that life gives NO guarantees and you choose – you own your life – you create your life – you co-creation with others.

So, step forward and choose wisely. Lead with depth and purpose – flowing and flexing with great positivity and creative energy!

In the meanwhile, grab a piece of paper and answer these questions: “What is my purpose?”

“What would a life of purpose look like for me?”

I do hope you might incorporate this wisdom into your life.

SKY WATCH JANUARY 2019 by Bob Berman, as featured in The 2019 Old Farmer’s Almanac The year begins with a predawn string of pearls: Some 40 minutes before sunrise on January 1, the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury hover from upper right to lower left, low in the eastern sky. Venus is now at its brightest of the year.

The alignment on the 2nd finds the Moon between Venus and Jupiter. On the 3rd, the Moon is to the left of Jupiter.

Through January, Venus sinks lower at first light but Jupiter is higher; their opposing motions cause them to meet from the 20th to the 26th. At nightfall all month, Mars in Pisces is due south at a bright magnitude 0.

GREAT AMERICAN TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE! A total lunar eclipse on January 20, visible from the entire United States and Canada, begins at 10:34 p.m., with totality starting at 11:41 p.m. Unlike a solar eclipse, which follows a narrow path (and may not be visible to most people), a total eclipse of the Moon can often be observed from anywhere on Earth where it’s nighttime!

Lunar eclipses only happen during full Moons; this January 2019 total eclipse of the Moon will appear bigger and brighter than average making it a so-called Supermoon.

The Earth’s dark shadow will move over the bright disk of the Moon; our planet will block the Sun’s light while it is between the Sun and Moon, causing the Moon to turn an orangish-red hue. In popular culture, this has been nicknamed the “Blood Moon.”

So, I guess you’re going to hear it called a “Supermoon Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse”? Or, perhaps it will be nicknamed a “Super Blood Moon Eclipse”? No matter!

This will be the last total lunar eclipse until May 26, 2021 so take time to look up at this celestial phenomenon.

"We Are Nature - Part III" by Bob Frissell “Those trees are your lungs. The earth recycles as your body. The rivers recycle as your circulation. The air is your breath. So what do we call the environment?” — Deepak Chopra We are Nature, and we are Nature in the most profound way. We can’t really draw a line and stand apart from it and say “That’s Nature and this is us.” We can’t do that because we are Nature.

Last month I gave you the details on air and how we can use our breath to consciously harmonize with the air element. Now I will give you the details on the remaining elements – Earth, fire and water.

How about Earth? Well the soil is what keeps us alive. We talk about how thin the atmosphere is, but the soil is just a very thin layer, and we are the Earth, we are the soil in the most profound way, because most of the food we eat is grown in the soil. So you put the food in your mouth, you take the molecules out of the food, and you make it into what we are. So we are the Earth because we’re created from molecules that plants have absorbed from the soil and we make it into our own body.

We are fire because every bit of the energy that makes us live and grow and reproduce; all of that energy in our bodies is originated as sunlight. Plants as we know, have found a way to capture this energy in the sunlight through photosynthesis. They are converting sunlight into chemical energy which is sugar, and it can be stored. So that sugar holds the energy; and when we burn sugar we release that energy. So we eat plants and we get that sunlight captured in the plants, and it makes up our bodies.

So we are fire in the most profound way. And every bit of fire that we make, that is, outside of our bodies, every single bit of it was sunlight that was captured by plants and stored as fossil fuel, or stored as trees that we burn. Every bit of the energy that we use, was sunlight. We are fire!

And water? Well every one of us is at least sixty percent water by weight, so we’re basically just a big blob of water. And yes we have enough thickener added so we don’t just drivel away on the floor. And as you know, our bodies leak water; we’re losing it all the time. Yet the amazing thing is, our bodies know that. We don’t have a big gage, we don’t need one, telling us that we’re nearing empty, because our body knows exactly how much water is in it, and it’s constantly keeping that level just right.

Water covers seventy percent of the planet and it evaporates; it forms clouds and it rains over the land, and it runs into rivers and lakes. And then it evaporates, and around and around it goes. So it cartwheels all around the planet, connecting us all together just as the air does, because we are water. And that water has come from all over the planet. So whatever we do to the water, we’re doing it directly to ourselves.

Now since we are inseparably connected to Nature, let’s look at some ways in which we can harmonize with these three elements.

Earth Since we are Nature, it certainly makes sense to develop a conscious, harmonious relationship with Mother Earth. Standing apart, trying to conquer and control the natural world doesn't work; when we destroy Nature we destroy ourselves. The Earth is alive. In order for you to be fully alive, you must reconnect with it, tune to it and feel it.

At a certain point, she will begin to communicate back to you.

There is a huge price to pay for living in cities with all the pavement, asphalt, traffic, pollution, and electro-magnetic fields. In order to cope with it, you tune out, and in the course of doing so, you get numbed out. You lose your intuitive feel. Reconnecting with Nature is the essential aspect in getting that back.

So I suggest you spend as much time in Nature as you can; and while there, let walking or hiking become a regular part of your routine.

Fire In the Biblical book of Genesis, God promises Noah that the Earth will never be destroyed by flood again. He makes a covenant with Noah to seal this promise, saying that the rainbow will be the symbol of this covenant. The Bible says the next time the Earth is destroyed it will be by fire. In the New Testament book of II Peter there is a verse that says: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."'

In Nothing In This Book Is True, But It’s Exactly How Things Are, I detailed how in 1972, the Sirians protected us from a wall of fire that otherwise would have consumed the entire planet. If you believe the events of r972, then you know we would have been destroyed by fire had not the Sirians intervened. Dare I say that were not evolved enough to just tune to the energy of the sun.

Fire is the most neglected of the elements. We are dangerously out of touch with it, and when we are out of touch with an element it can destroy us. Less than a century ago, fire was necessary for cooking and to provide warmth. Now we have central heating and microwaves. This is the same technology that is choking us with the internal combustion engine, and it is the same technology that has given us guns and weapons of mass destruction. All are examples of the misuse of the fire principle.

Sitting with a fire aids you in developing a conscious relationship to fire so you notice experientially what the fire is doing for you. The word "chakra" means wheel. Your wheels of energy are always turning. When you are by a fire, they are turning through the flames. Fire is the most efficient element for burning away anger and the death urge, the basic principle being anything that is not God gets burned away.

So I would suggest that you go camping to remind yourself of just how pleasurable it is to sit in front of a good campfire. If you have a fireplace or a wood burning stove, use it.

And if you don’t, burn candles. We know that a room full of burning candles creates a wonderful atmosphere, a beautiful “Cathedral” type effect. So give yourself the direct experience of fire.

Water Just how soothing is it to sit by a stream or creek and soak in all the negative ions? And how about swimming in the lake, or better yet, in the ocean; is that refreshing or what?

And your shower or bath---here’s a simple question for you, “Did you feel better before your bath or shower, or did you feel better after?” Stupid question, right?

So we all know the value of daily bathing; yes it cleans the dirt off you, and it certainly leaves you feeling refreshed. But why is that? The answer is that it is also cleansing you of “psychic dirt”; as you relax, you can feel the stress and tensions from the day just melting away.

I recommend then, that you try bathing twice a day to clean the aura or energy body as well as the physical body. This can be done either by showers or by total immersion in a tub, the latter being a more efficient method of cleaning the energy body.

Water purification as an initiation into the spiritual life is an ancient practice; it is called baptism and it was in use long before the Christians began practicing it. Now we have the convenience of indoor plumbing and hot water heaters.

Let me remind you of the importance of filtering your bath or shower water. It’s quite harmful to the body on an accumulated basis, to be bathing in chlorinated water. And the same is true for your drinking water.

"The Higgs Field, and Human DNA" By Sean McCleary There has been extensive research done on what the Higgs field does and how the Higgs field was introduced into existence with the big bang. I do work in evolutionary cosmology and my primary focus is on how evolution happens with consciousness, matter and energy. Evolution requires force because evolution introduces more matter into existence and generates more energy. There is also the resistance to evolutionary development that occurs from the uncertainty of the change that is occurring in time and space. My work is different than the traditional methods; and I incorporate consciousness into quantum activity with the process of evolution and the resistance to evolution. The reason my focus is different than the mainstream scientific approach with the Higgs field is because I also incorporate consciousness into the field itself as Page | 51

being the most powerful concentration of consciousness and energy in the universe.

The Higgs field generates mass in other particles and different particles interact with the Higgs field for evolutionary purposes. The Higgs field is a universal energy field that represents the basis for the evolutionary activity of subatomic particles. The evolution of time and space drives acceleration and expansion which creates force.

Changes that are occurring in time and space also produces resistance to evolution.

This is where all of the activity of how energy is dispersed in the universe is from evolution and the resistance to evolution. Explanations of the field and how other particles interact or do not interact with the field can seem very complex with different scientific descriptions. I use reductionism in my work to help others understand what the Higgs field does and what it represents in the universe. If you think of the Higgs field and the universe as yourself it's not that difficult to understand.

You are an extension of the universe. Planet Earth and the human race evolved out of the universe. The Higgs field is like the most powerful essence of who you are and what your purpose is on an infinite level. It is like the most powerful form of your identity on a physical and spiritual level. From that place within you everything else within your being experiences evolution with time and space. Some scientific people may scoff at this description but it's the truth and the universe and everything in it will be viewed on a more simplistic level with the evolution of consciousness happening on Earth. The science associated with cosmology needs new information introduced into the dynamics because thus far there still hasn't been a clear explanation on how the universe operates. If you have the right information about the universe it can be understood as easily as the alphabet.

That's why I introduce consciousness into cosmology like I do; is to gain a greater understanding of how the universe operates. The universe had to be conceptualized and designed because the universe has an identity and everything in the universe are concepts. Consciousness has to be incorporated into energy for the purpose of designing evolution in order to maintain the integrity of infinity. This is the most powerful aspect of consciousness and energy; is infinite existence. The entire universe and everything in its structure are composed of consciousness and energy. That might sound preposterous but it's true. Just like a vehicle is conceptualized, designed and introduced into Earth's environment by the consciousness of individuals who work in the automotive industry. This universe has to have something that surrounds its structure because nothing cannot exist. The universe is contained within a greater body of consciousness and energy that conceptualized, designed and introduced the universe 13.8 billion years ago. This is where the universe gets its power and life from. When the universe was introduced the Higgs field was necessary for the purpose of the evolutionary interaction between itself and the body of consciousness and energy that the universe is contained within. The body of consciousness and energy that the universe is contained within is consciousness and pure dark energy and pure light energy. When I say pure I mean no matter or even subatomic activity.

Pure dark energy is produced by consciousness and lower frequency vibrations and pure light energy is produced by consciousness and higher frequency vibrations. These vibrations transfer into the universe and are absorbed by the Higgs field first. The frequency vibrations transfer into the Higgs field and are generated throughout the universe. These vibrations produce Higgs bosons which interact with other particles.

This is the foundation for evolutionary activity in the universe. The matter that is created and the way that energy reacts with matter are a result of the Higgs field.

Strong force, weak force and gravity come from the way that evolution in the universe is happening. There is also resistance involved from the changes that are occurring in time and space that affects the way that energy responds to matter. When the vibrational frequencies transfer out of the Higgs field this produces different types of subatomic particles; because there are different variables of time and space everywhere. Subatomic particles are different concentrations of consciousness, light energy, dark energy and pressure. The reason that photons don’t interact with the Higgs field is due to evolution. Photons are the source carriers of light for this universe and they act independently for that purpose; so it is not necessary for them to interact with the Higgs field.

The Higgs field is also incorporated into planet Earth’s environment for the purpose of helping Earth evolve. Like I had mentioned previously light energy produces higher frequency vibrations and dark energy produces lower frequency vibrations. When the two are combined with evolutionary activity; this generates pressure. Planet Earth has a very powerful mixture of light and dark energy. This produces a very high degree of pressure within living organisms here. The pressure varies depending upon the organism itself. Resistance to the evolution of consciousness presents itself in many ways. Pressure in the body in relation to consciousness is represented as fear. Fear is a lot more than just an emotional response; it is a very powerful aspect of evolution.

Because human beings do not understand what happens when they experience death this produces a very powerful resistance to the evolution of consciousness and this type of fear is primarily stored in the subconscious energy. Subconscious energy is all over the body because the entire body itself is comprised as consciousness. A good example is cellular activity.

Consciousness contains a will. If you were having a morning cup of coffee and you were focusing in on that aspect of your day; there are billions of cells in your body performing different functions. This is another aspect of will contained in your body that is performing different functions that one is not aware of at that particular time.

This is a good example of the entire body being comprised as consciousness.

The reason that scientists and astronomers haven't been able to detect the Higgs field is because their consciousness does not have the ability to interact with the Higgs field in a very powerful way. The transfer of energy from the Higgs field into the human body isn’t that strong. This is due to the amount of pressure contained in the human body.

The Higgs field is the fundamental structure for the evolutionary activity in the universe and maintains the integrity of infinity. Human beings contain the concept and the uncertainty of death within them so the interaction with the Higgs field isn’t that powerful. This is what causes aging and death in human beings. Because the Higgs field is a particular field of energy and contains consciousness; it is going to experience change through the process of evolution. The Higgs field absorbs consciousness and energy from the consciousness and energy that the universe is contained within. That consciousness and energy expand and accelerate infinitely and contain infinity within the body of energy it possesses. Infinity is the will contained within consciousness that represents eternal existence. This will is represented by energy. If you think about existing forever and never dying; then wait for a few seconds and think about never existing again after you experience death here; this will produce two different Page | 53

emotional responses. It seems emotional but what it is; is the transfer of energy from the Higgs field into the body.

Earth’s life is supported by Universal Consciousness and the Higgs field. Earth evolved out of the universe almost 5 billion years ago. What evolved into life was a molecular structure of consciousness and energy known as DNA. This was necessary so evolution would have a blueprint. Cells require DNA as a mechanism to take on more energy from the outside environment on a subatomic level. The body contains protons, neutrons and electrons already. The genetic code is the set of rules used by living cells to translate information encoded within genetic material into proteins. This aspect of the human body is very calculated and seems somewhat mechanical with the operational procedures that occur within cell structure. Even though the human body is a very fascinating natural dynamic structure within itself; if you look at what takes place very methodically then it seems as though there is another source involved in the evolutionary development and activity associated with the life cycle of a human being.

This would be the case since energy is transferred. Like I stated earlier; planet Earth and all the living organisms on Earth transferred out of Universal Consciousness and energy into the Milky Way galaxy almost 5 billion years ago. It is not coincidental that the rest of our solar system is all about the same age. The planets are different in size and structure yet all evolved randomly out a cloud of solar dust?

Universal Consciousness has a very powerful and important evolutionary design for Earth and the rest of our solar system. We are in the early developmental stages of a magnificent shift in the ideological perspectives that people have; especially science.

Soon the philosophies and theories about how the universe was introduced and what the true nature of existence entails will be somewhat antiquated; especially with the incorporation of consciousness into the realm of physics. The beginning stages of this are happening now with the introduction of Panpsychism. This has to happen because just like the evolution of technology here; consciousness is evolving as well. Some people are hesitant to this integration and what that is; is just the natural part of the process where resistance is involved like I discussed earlier. With the evolution of consciousness more energy is required. This is why non coding DNA is in place for living organisms. Non coding DNA is in place for a very specific reason and it's not that difficult to understand. Because Earth is experiencing evolutionary development it means that there will be an increase in the concentration of how the vibrational frequencies of light and dark energy interact with one another; and this is where the Higgs field is involved. The Higgs field contains these vibrational frequencies at its most fundamental level.

What is happening with planet Earth; or the shift is pressure is being released away from Earth and the Higgs field is becoming more concentrated. This is one of the primary reasons the Higgs boson was discovered by CERN. What will happen soon is the Higgs field will generate more power here causing remarkable changes in evolution with living organisms. Non coding DNA had to be in place to absorb the transfer of energy because the human consciousness and body itself is going to advance. This means that the genetic code is going to change due to the increase in subatomic activity and the transfer of energy into the body. It will be absorbed first by DNA and non coding DNA will activate producing more protein synthesis because the body itself will require this with the evolutionary activity. I know this is a scientific article but I am going to use this as reference. This is what happened with Jesus over 2000 years ago; is Page | 54

his entire being became adapted into the Higgs field. This is how he was able to perform miracles, levitate and heal others. The Higgs field is responsible for the behavior and evolutionary development of matter and energy. What this means is the Higgs field is the most powerful aspect of evolutionary design in the universe; it is the basis for the evolution of everything else in the universe. There were other reasons that happened with him but the main reason he advanced here on Earth was due to his interaction in its entirety with the energy of the Higgs field. The human race in its entirety has to experience evolutionary development due the acceleration of space and time. More energy is required to generate more acceleration and the increase in energy causes the evolution of consciousness contained within that energy.

Consciousness advances to conceptualize more because evolution gets more powerful.

Soon Earth and all of the inhabitants here will be busy in a wonderful new era of the advancement of the human race; it will be a blast for everyone.

Channeling Channeling is a natural form of communication between humans and ascended masters, angelic beings, nature spirits, or non-physical entities. A channeler is very similar to a language translator or interpreter. They allow themselves to sense the nonverbal communication from another being and then translate it into human words.

Channeling is often defined as the act of allowing a spiritual entity (e.g., angel, archangel, ascended master, guide, deceased loved one) to merge, join, or enter your body and use your vocal cords to communicate directly with those on the Earth plane or provide knowledge and the channeler can write down the shared information. For some people who channel, the entity will also move the channeler’s body (e.g., open your eyes, move your arms/legs, have you walk around).

Channeling can be done in two different ways: Conscious channeling is done while being fully aware of what is happening, including being able to stop the experience at any time. The channeler can remember what was said to varying degrees. Often conscious channels will say that they hear themselves speaking as if they were at a distance . . . as if they were listening from another room.

When told about what was said, they often feel as if they are remembering a dream.

There are many people currently alive on the Earth plane who consciously channel. For example, Esther Hicks brings through the group of entities that refer to themselves as Abraham (no relation to the Old Testament). They speak about the Law of Attraction.

Trance channeling is channeling done while in a deep trance state. Arguably one of the most famous trance channelers was Edgar Cayce. He was referred to as “The Sleeping Prophet� because he only channeled when he was in a deep trance state. This meant that he lost all muscle tone and had to be lying down. He was also unable to remember what he said, which meant that his secretary had to be present to take dictation and Page | 57

We become accustomed, and then walk through life as in a dream.

This process of becoming acclimatized is normal. We all do it. As toddlers, we find wonder and delight in everyday things — have you ever seen a child chase after a bubble or butterfly, or laugh in delight at a bouncing ball? Then we get used to it, and ignore it all in favor of our phones.

I’m not criticizing any of us — we all do it, and it’s natural. But it’s good to know that we’re taking our world for granted. And then take actions to reverse it when we can.

Here’s how: · Develop a practice of looking all around you with childlike eyes, seeing everything afresh, as if you’ve never seen it before. See the wonder in the everyday. · Look around you, several times a day, and find small things that you’re grateful you have in your life. A cereal bowl to hold your oats and berries. A podcast. A window that gives you a beautiful view. · Try to look at one person a day as if they were the most beautiful being on Earth. As if they were worthy of your love, of looking into their soul and understanding the depths of their being. As if they have a gift to offer the world, and your gift is to witness it. As if they have a tender heart that wants to be loved, as if they have pain worthy of your compassion.

Open your heart to the world around you, and behold its truly magnificent nature. We have been given a powerful gift, of being alive and witnessing this world. Let’s not forget it.

"Finding Your Purpose" By Cindy Griffith

“What is my Purpose?” As a psychic and spiritual counselor, people often ask how to find their Purpose. I offer them a radical suggestion. Most expect to fulfill their purpose by doing a particular job or by volunteering. Imagine if you fulfill your purpose by “how” you do something, not “what” you do. Let me explain.

Think of your Purpose being fulfilled when how you live your life is directed by your highest spiritual value. If how you do something is more important than what you do, then, your job can be purposeful no matter what it is.

What if compassion is your highest spiritual value. As a beautician, mortician or even politician you can do what you do compassionately. The beautician can be a compassionate listener. The mortician can show compassion by creating a safe space to Page | 61

grieve. The politician can compassionately weigh the needs of the many with the needs of the few. No matter your job, you are following your Purpose via compassion.

You live purposefully through, in this example, being compassionate in everything you do, including compassionately interacting with people and situations at home, work, driving and even while shopping! Edgar Cayce would call this expressing your Ideal.

When you are living your highest and ultimate spiritual value, you are living your Ideal.

I have figured out that when we are living our Ideal, we are fulfilling our Purpose. How freeing is it for your Purpose to not come from what you do for a living. Edgar Cayce taught how to find your Ideal and below I have translated his wisdom into finding your Purpose.

HOW DO I FIND MY PURPOSE??

Think of someone you respect. They don’t have to be alive, you don’t need to have known them or even met them. The person could be a character in a book or comic strip.

Think about why you respect him or her. I think of my sister Gray and her Husband John and how they moved their family for three years from Australia to the USA just to help my parents. I also respect Jesus because he was kind to people that others judged as bad.

Make a list of the qualities you respect. The qualities you respect in others are the qualities that resonate with you.

These qualities are a part of your Purpose. So, in my example, I would see part of my Purpose being “Family” and “Kindness.”

Okay, so now that you have your Purpose, how can you start living it? Since Ideals and Purpose are aligned, here is what Edgar Cayce recommended to help you implement your Ideals. He says it is important to have the right head space or mental qualities to help you live your Ideal in your life. He then recommended making a list of the actual things you can do to put your Ideal in action. So, there are two more steps in living a Purpose filled life.

HOW DO I LIVE MY PURPOSE??

Think of what mental qualities might help you. I need patience when dealing with my Mom and I need mindfulness to remember to be kind.

Now make a list of HOW you can put your Purpose into your daily life. I daily help my Mom take care of her finances and I practice being kind to people by finding ways every day to help people feel good about themselves.

Do what is on your list and you are well on your way to fulfilling your Purpose.

Some final thoughts about living a life of Purpose: It is important to take care of yourself. Make sure you get enough sleep, eat well, have some fun and don’t take your Page | 62

goal of Purpose so seriously. If I am hungry or tired, it will be much harder for me to be kind and if I don’t take time out for fun, I could resent helping Mom. Use your Purpose like the Northern Star to guide your actions and help you know you’re on the right track. Yet, like no sailor ever expects to end up on the Northern Star, Purpose is not a goal as much as it is what you strive toward. You won’t always be perfect at your Purpose; you will fall short, forget to take care of yourself and get off course. Let go of expectations to be perfect at fulfilling your Purpose. Simply do the best you can.

Remember, another trait you most likely respect in others is Forgiveness, so practice Forgiveness on yourself as you sail forth and live a more Purposeful life.
