Architecture has impact on me quite a lot because architecture influenced me to think more broadly when learning new things. This life contemplation will continues because in this turbulence, uncertain and ambiguous era, we have to be ready to face new challenges everyday. Apart from that, whatever manifested in this portfolio is all due to the contemplative role of everyone that i have ever met, they are teachers, lecturers, mentors, and colleagues.

The first time i know pandu is when he started internship 1 years ago and also became a partner in a national competitions, I still know him very well during this time. His ability to carry out the design process is very adept, the idealistic and perfectionist-traits often make him hasty and forget his time in doing work, but i believe he could change and improve with his most prominent characteristic, always wanted to find and learn new things. Pandu has the ability to adapt in many things and become someone with insight. No matter how far he goes, I am confident with his motivation and ideas that will continue to be sharpened, he could be a trusted person and complete the work given with full responsibility.

Architecture & Design Selected Works 2018 - 2019

I was graduated from major of architecture, Universitas Sebelas Maret with a period of study for 4,5yrs. I encourage myself to make a decision 6 months-break for internship because I thought learning on campus is not enough. Participated in many architecture design competitions, and collaborated with various and new people gave me new knowledge and also insight to always think outside the box. HALO !

I believe that architecture covers all aspects of life and vice versa, from small details to macro-urban areas. However, it does not limit how we work, because architecture has the ability to organize ourselves dynamically to built our environment.

Highlights Highly Motivation. Optimistic. Strong Adaptibility, Fast Learner, Good Interpersonal Skill, Able to Work in Team or Individually

I get to know Pandu as a friendly, fun and talented person not only in the architecture things that he is in, but also in many other fields. Quick to get along, sociable, and also the most prominent thing is having the initiative and able to became a leader among his coworkers when we had worked with him. I think this is very important in today’s creative - competitive - cooperative era. Pandu’s initiative and awareness leader become his strong character which in my opinion will be one of his strengths to appear as a great and bright future architect. Keep on working and see u on top, Pandu

Pandu has sincerity, desire, and eager to learn personality, especially about new things. He atlways strives to keep going forward, which is shown by his ability to complete the tasks given during his internship. His graphics are above average that often makes me amazed. Pandu also often proves his ability in architecture by winning several national competitions, such as 1st place in the UAJY - Sepekan Arsitektur 2019 and 1st Winner - Best Design Category at ITS - Arch Project Morph : 2019 . I believe Pandu has the potential and opportunity to become a great figure in the future, namely as a great architect.

We believe that tourism is not a village main mission, but rather a content and aspect that already exists in the village. The problem that arises is how to build a village that has tourism potential (wisata-desa), not to build a village that is oriented towards tourism (desa wisata).

This competition became superior at that time because we conducted a survey study and found that the real problem was not the village’s need to be a tourist area, but many more important primary needs such as renovating village halls, shared rooms or squares, health centers, and even renovating areas that had previously experienced natural disasters such as landslides Having Airlangga as a partner is unique because he is not an architecture student but a mechanical engineering student. We offer different designs than other participants. while others try to cultivate on certain vacant land in the area, we instead cultivate one village

Border issues becomes a major intense in the world. Without realizing that the boundary is precisely a problem and needs to be penetrated and redesigned contextually permeable.

The output is unique because it is done for one night only, where the time process is used longer before thinking of simple ideas but can solve the problems requested.

A simple effort in the context of one another’s situation is to break down all existing bourders/barriers and make them unite. Thus, the answer to everything is not to form something new, but to destroy what is there and to merge it.

THE PERMEABLE

I tried to create something that is not thought-of by others that the real problem is something that already exists, and not create something new that can actually cause new problems.

PRECEDENTS The Fall of the Berliner Mauer (West - East Germany Border) - Post War II - Ideologically Background After War

COMPETITION WORKS

After Germany lost the war by the Allies and the Soviets, its territory was divided into the Western (Soviet) and the Eastern (Allies). This situation gradually triggered the action of the German people themselves who want freedom and independence to unite the two sides of them.

Then, this wall was broken and collapsed in 1989, until now its form is still left and the area around the wall forms a new public space for German society around the borders.

This competition provides an extraordinary experience because we offer thematic and modular solutions in the form of installations, while other teams create works on a large scale and also urban macro scale We were appreciated for presenting work that was different from usual until the jurors judge us like sales marketing, we are the only team that has the initiative to make maquettes and also conducts research on our competitors using BCG (Boston Consultan Group) diagrams by comparing the scale of relistic and affordable

Halo is an architectural design with the theme of psychological detoxification for urban commuters. The design presents a pseudo and real spatial quality in the function of architecture in the form of a veil of rings (halo) with characters that are contextual to the location and the needs of the commuters. Through Halo Lets Talk; Lets Watch, Lets Listen; and Lets Eat, aims to make the new spatial experience for the boring of commuting to be more enjoyable, so that the return of the previously bad into good vibes.

Halo : Save Havens for Busy City

- CONTEXT MRT is a new mode of transportation in Jakarta which is awaited by the public with various euphoria. At its launch, several potentials were found that made the MRT station unique. Especially on the corridor, is a strategic meeting place for people from all backgrounds, and also a place for some spontaneous activities such as art and economy events

COMPETITION WORKS

These various potentials can then become a catalyst for overcoming various psychological problems, but unfortunately, there is no link between these two variable.

Design interventions entered into corridor facilities to accommodate potential and social activities at the station. These potentials will be a catalyst for psychological & physical healing. Design detoxifies mentally through sensory stimulation of stressed users.

New Space Created Fun Experience through the Offered Activities

After design interventions entered, a selection of new activities emerged that could stimulate and relax the psychic users of MRT through their five senses. Commuting activities that were initially tired and boring then became more fun.

MAIN CONCEPT

I was involved in the schematic and discussion of conceptual thinking and visualization, while the maximum execution such as the main rendering visualization is done by Riardy as a team leader.

This idea arises from basic thinking with the aim of disaster response is to protect users from the risk of injury or death. As with basic education where we are taught to take cover under the table, and run to the refugee area, or run to the lifeboats on the big ship.

ANTISPACETION

The experience is so exciting because we do presentations directly in big event with lots of people, unluckily we only achieved 4th place because the idea of a container box was felt to be quite vulnerable in a shock or oscillation situations that could endanger the users in it.

Antispacetion is the idea where the design will prepare a space that serves as a mitigation space or refugee area in the form of both outside and inside. The space can be used during or after a disaster, this space will change its function as an evacuation or gathering point area when the scenario experiences the worst conditions including some houses are damaged and in need of renovation

MAIN CONCEPT

Unfortunately, there is an inaccurate in reading the task that the panel orientation output should be portrait and not landscape. I am sure that this competition just being disqualified because it does not comply with the provisions

The location is a small island and does not have toilets due to lack of attention and also the source of water, so tourists need to cross back to the main island to go to the toilet. The response to climate and nature is a major concern as energy Development strategy plan that is by dividing the elements of the contextual sub-approach to fit the order (Fit to Site & Fix to Site) Proposed design in the form of how to bring contextual as a concept that can later be right on target according to needs (Contextual as Conceptual)

COMPETITION WORKS

This competition is a totally effort that is done individually and is quite satisfied with the results. The research data were obtained from the implementation of KKN in the chosen location.

then we try to bring life back in Borneo to the strategic area, this condition is like comparing our region with nature- its nature, while at the same time returning Jakarta’s needs for green space

FUTURARC PRIZE 2020

From the monas competition, a year ago, there are many research data that can be developed and respond to current issues. The issue of moving the capital to the island of Borneo made us pay attention to the current issue of losing the green area there, so we tried to analyze the capital area

- which has the most building complexes will move to new land and will be a question of the old building, namely in the Monas complex (Medan Merdeka),

COMPETITION WORKS

This competition was the last that I attended during college and we were quite satisfied with the results of our work.

73

OLD PROBLEMS LEF T IN JAKA R TA Jakarta is crushed with over density problem which then included chain reactions to air over pollution and extraction of groundwater due to bad policy implementation. Jakarta also experiencing the lack of green space. Sooner or later, Jakarta will be sunken and its a state of condition which not evitable. The ground level of the entire city is going to be lower than the sea level, moreover its currently happening at some area of Jakarta.

SYMBIOCITY

NE W PROBLEMS A RI SING IN B ORNEO

According to the Government of Indonesia, the plan was incepted as result of so many problems felt in Jakarta. They stated, an ideal capital should nearly-sterile from urban problems. It will generate consequences, which resulted into two categories:

Borneo is an island which has a thick rainforest biodiversity & home to numerous unique florae & fauna. Despite of that, Borneo already has a chronic deforestation problem. Borneo already lost 30% of its forest in the past 40 years & the rates is not expected to not slowdown in near future. By this current condition. Borneo naturalbiodiversity is on the edge of total destruction because the necessity of land and resource caused by the policy to move the Capital of Indonesia.

RE SOLUTI ON

The old problem which still left in Jakarta, and The new problem which will arise in Borneo.

Both categories of problems caused by the plan eventually need to be adressed as soon as possible during the execution of the plan. This project idea is to collide each category of problem to solve each other by each other. We are transforming the National Monument of Medan Merdeka complex into an urban forest biosphere and also transforming surrounding unused to-be government buildings into vertical forest.

COMPETITION WORKS

The urban forest biosphere will contain each of unique Indonesian islands’ biodiversity through natural landscape design. The vertical forest building is achieved through sustainable rainharvesting system and vertical farming modular installation as existing buildings’ secondary skin. We are imagining a city as a symbiosis between human & nature.

High passion in design. Is the first sentence that I think is suitable to describe Pandu. Having a high level of curiosity, accompanied by a strong effort and desire, makes the aspect of talent-from-birth/heredity is no longer important anymore. Always obsessed for new things and not easily satisfied with everything that has been achieved is an important thing for an architect. He has a taste of design and good graphic skills, and often join and wins design competitions, as an asset to become a great architect in the future.

I was involved in studying the area on a macro, meso, and micro site by observing the context and taking Sundanese architecture approaches totally. these things will later become a benchmark for laying out and also architecture at large..

This experience was an extraordinary experience because through this competition I was able to learn a lot and apply-it about Sundanese architecture with Purnama Salura, known as Sundanese architectculture.

As usual, hepta divided their representatives into 2 main teams. a team coordinated by Fahmi Ferdiansyah, and a team coordinated by Aris Munandar. One team from the hepta, Aris’s team, qualified for the first round of the top 5. If there is one team from hepta that passes into the judging round, all of them will help to get the best position.

Archica Danisworo, S.T, IAI Dr. Ir. Jatmika Adi Suryabrata, M.Sc, IAI Ir. Adrianto P. Adhi Rektor Universitas Diponegoro

The stone box is designed as a public building that provides a concept of a balance between nature and modern life. The special characteristics of the Aris team stand out in the strong monumental impression compared to the inscriptions that have the image of the past and are presented in the present. The combination of modern elements and tropical vegetation to create a harmony and oasis in the building.

INTO THE WOODS

The experience of the competition is quite unique because it is carried out in a very short period of time around 1 day. It is acceptable hat we feel dissatisfied and not optimal because it is not designed with the consideration of mature concepts. But I am quite satisfied because it tests how fast we are designing and thinking logic quickly. Into the Woods is the embodiment of a rest area that creates a more primary rest concept by giving the experience of the nuances of openess space and the atmosphere of the presence of natural elements into the rest space. So that the spatial shape that appears has many openings and cut holes in the roof in response to existing vegetation.

This competition has the same experience as the previous, that was done in a short amount of time, but we tried to finalize more on the concept. We are quite satisfied with the design output.

The Stone Gates is an embodiment of the distinctive form of Banyuwangi which has a lot of natural attractions, and The Stone Gates is the entrance to all of these attractions. With its monumentalist concept, Stone Gates represent the local image of Banyuwangi as a geopark location

PROFESSIONAL WORKS

This project is a renovation and addition for existing houses. The client wants the addition of this function because the existing house is an old house for his in-laws. It is hoped that this house will become a family gathering house. Until now the design is still continuing.

This project emphasizes more on the demand for spatial planning on the client to the fullest, My involvement as a designer is not much because the client has determined the designer before but is not satisfied enough, so I complete some of the parts that have been made and improve the layout to be more humanist.
