Architecture has impact on me quite a lot because architecture influenced me to think more broadly when learning new things. This life contemplation will continues because in this turbulence, uncertain and ambiguous era, we have to be ready to face new challenges everyday.

Apart from that, whatever manifested in this portfolio is all due to the contemplative role of everyone that i have ever met, they are teachers, lecturers, mentors, and colleagues.

This is the last academic project that I made, I started from a background that is not defined by others and try to create a new paradigm by trying to connect existing possibilities and future context. Very grateful that this project completed and appreciated not only by the campus, but also APTARI. This work passed curation for the best national student work and I got the opportunity to present and display this final project in public and architect as a panelist. The selected panelists were Realrich Sjarief and also Ariko Andikabina, they were quite appreciative of the extraordinary ideas as well as the visualizations that I created.

ACADEMIC WORKS

Waste Recovery Center is a waste management area that aims to solve downstream-waste problem. Through its varieties of functions, it integrates traditional and modern facilities as an innovation in the existing processing-method in Putri Cempo’s landfill, Surakarta (open dumping method), changing the paradigm of urban society towards waste.

Masterplan, Urban, Contemporary Architecture Kiringan, Canden, Bantul, Yogyakarta Airlangga Aridharma Adi Purnomo (mamostudio) RM Cahyo Bandhono (PURI Desain) Sinta Dewi, IAI (UAJY Academician)

We believe that tourism is not a village main mission, but rather a content and aspect that already exists in the village. The problem that arises is how to build a village that has tourism potential (wisata-desa), not to build a village that is oriented towards tourism (desa wisata).

This competition became superior at that time because we conducted a survey study and found that the real problem was not the village’s need to be a tourist area, but many more important primary needs such as renovating village halls, shared rooms or squares, health centers, and even renovating areas that had previously experienced natural disasters such as landslides Having Airlangga as a partner is unique because he is not an architecture student but a mechanical engineering student. We offer different designs than other participants. while others try to cultivate on certain vacant land in the area, we instead cultivate one village

ROADS IDENTIFICATION & SPECIFIC EXIST

Community activities centered in the middle of the area become important attention as the main axis of the future development of the region.

The village has independent herbal medicine production activities in several houses. Circulation which is often used to be passed to penetrate other villages / hamlets needs to be addressed

ACTIVITIES

CHARATERISTIC ZONING

The zoning of the area as much as 8 + 1 zoning with the main axis point of the middle area as a core, which then this function will be adjusted to the needs of each area

Dividing the characteristics of the zone from the edge to the middle of area, the vague boundary is formed but it is enough to differentiate how the land allotment and the area will be at the time of development.

The development of the meso scale is to divide the area by 8 zoning which characterizes the division based on the Wilwatika concept.

Development of meso in the form of zoning for the region. Aims to categorize the types of functions and determine the order and strengthen the identity of the village. COMPETITION WORKS

Border issues becomes a major intense in the world. Without realizing that the boundary is precisely a problem and needs to be penetrated and redesigned contextually permeable.

The output is unique because it is done for one night only, where the time process is used longer before thinking of simple ideas but can solve the problems requested.

A simple effort in the context of one another’s situation is to break down all existing bourders/barriers and make them unite. Thus, the answer to everything is not to form something new, but to destroy what is there and to merge it.

THE PERMEABLE

I tried to create something that is not thought-of by others that the real problem is something that already exists, and not create something new that can actually cause new problems.

PRECEDENTS The Fall of the Berliner Mauer (West - East Germany Border) - Post War II - Ideologically Background After War

COMPETITION WORKS

After Germany lost the war by the Allies and the Soviets, its territory was divided into the Western (Soviet) and the Eastern (Allies). This situation gradually triggered the action of the German people themselves who want freedom and independence to unite the two sides of them.

Then, this wall was broken and collapsed in 1989, until now its form is still left and the area around the wall forms a new public space for German society around the borders.

This competition provides an extraordinary experience because we offer thematic and modular solutions in the form of installations, while other teams create works on a large scale and also urban macro scale We were appreciated for presenting work that was different from usual until the jurors judge us like sales marketing, we are the only team that has the initiative to make maquettes and also conducts research on our competitors using BCG (Boston Consultan Group) diagrams by comparing the scale of relistic and affordable

Halo is an architectural design with the theme of psychological detoxification for urban commuters. The design presents a pseudo and real spatial quality in the function of architecture in the form of a veil of rings (halo) with characters that are contextual to the location and the needs of the commuters. Through Halo Lets Talk; Lets Watch, Lets Listen; and Lets Eat, aims to make the new spatial experience for the boring of commuting to be more enjoyable, so that the return of the previously bad into good vibes.

Halo : Save Havens for Busy City

- CONTEXT MRT is a new mode of transportation in Jakarta which is awaited by the public with various euphoria. At its launch, several potentials were found that made the MRT station unique. Especially on the corridor, is a strategic meeting place for people from all backgrounds, and also a place for some spontaneous activities such as art and economy events

COMPETITION WORKS

These various potentials can then become a catalyst for overcoming various psychological problems, but unfortunately, there is no link between these two variable.

MAIN CONCEPT

I was involved in the schematic and discussion of conceptual thinking and visualization, while the maximum execution such as the main rendering visualization is done by Riardy as a team leader.

This idea arises from basic thinking with the aim of disaster response is to protect users from the risk of injury or death. As with basic education where we are taught to take cover under the table, and run to the refugee area, or run to the lifeboats on the big ship.

ANTISPACETION

The experience is so exciting because we do presentations directly in big event with lots of people, unluckily we only achieved 4th place because the idea of a container box was felt to be quite vulnerable in a shock or oscillation situations that could endanger the users in it.

Antispacetion is the idea where the design will prepare a space that serves as a mitigation space or refugee area in the form of both outside and inside. The space can be used during or after a disaster, this space will change its function as an evacuation or gathering point area when the scenario experiences the worst conditions including some houses are damaged and in need of renovation

One team from the hepta, Aris’s team, qualified for the first round of the top 5. If there is one team from hepta that passes into the judging round, all of them will help to get the best position.

4th Place Winner

The stone box is designed as a public building that provides a concept of a balance between nature and modern life. The special characteristics of the Aris team stand out in the strong monumental impression compared to the inscriptions that have the image of the past and are presented in the present. The combination of modern elements and tropical vegetation to create a harmony and oasis in the building.

07 into the woods Rest Area for Toll and Arterial Primary Road IAI Lixil - Rest Area for Toll Road | LIXIL Indonesia The experience of the competition is quite unique because it is carried out in a very short period of time around 1 day. It is acceptable hat we feel dissatisfied and not optimal because it is not designed with the consideration of mature concepts. But I am quite satisfied because it tests how fast we are designing and thinking logic quickly.

Into the Woods is the embodiment of a rest area that creates a more primary rest concept by giving the experience of the nuances of openess space and the atmosphere of the presence of natural elements into the rest space. So that the spatial shape that appears has many openings and cut holes in the roof in response to existing vegetation.

This competition has the same experience as the previous, that was done in a short amount of time, but we tried to finalize more on the concept. We are quite satisfied with the design output.

The Stone Gates is an embodiment of the distinctive form of Banyuwangi which has a lot of natural attractions, and The Stone Gates is the entrance to all of these attractions. With its monumentalist concept, Stone Gates represent the local image of Banyuwangi as a geopark location
