(used occasionally) . This physical barrier weaknes the impact on the campus culture. Interviews conducted revealed the safety issues after dark along the road to NSP , and the presence of other hangout spots that are relatively closer such as the metro station and Dilli Haat , as reasons that under-mine the importance of NSP in campus life.
The presence of muliple access points into NSP results in a chaos as it is difficult to regulate the movement of vehicles moving into the site as well as leaving the site. This leads to major Traffic congestions during peak hours.

1 : Street Activity : Informal retail & movement of students. The plazas and food joints of NSP are popular hangout dipots.
2 : Streets designed with restricted vehicular access facilitating pedestrian movement , in gated socities like Pitampura , however these streets lack activities.
2 : The district park isolates NSP from Kohat enclave which is regarded as unsafe by the residents , due to its shear size.
2 : Wazirpur flyovers causes faster and more efficient monement of traffic , making LJN marg unsafe for pedestrian to get across.
3 : The Socio - economic divide between Kohat Enclave & Shakarpur assumes a physical nature due to lack of activities along the peripheral streets.
3 : Deired lines have developed over time on the vacant land between NSP & Shakarpur , which enables the residents to walk to the Metro Station & bus stop of NSP.
3 : Shakarpur mixed use typology: Retail on ground floor , residential on upper floors results in the streets being very active. However parking & encroachment on the street in clogging.

STRATEGIES
NSP is well connected to the entire city via the following :
Isolated from its context by high speed motorways , massive green entities & vacant tracts of land.
NSP has the potential for serving a multi - faceted urban asset , connecting the various residential colonies in its vicinity and providing a platform for socio - cultural interactions.
Competition from other district centers in proximity , Mangalam place & Rohini DC.
Creating barrier free pedestrian pathways.
Metro station Two Ring - Roads NH 1 , NH 2 , NH 8 , NH 10 , NH 24 Nearby Suburbs Counter mahnet cities Presenve of redundant land in vicinity provides for a big oppurtunity.
Presence of towering blocks along the periphery impose a safety and security issue for the nearby residential areas. Negative spaces within the empty core as well in the buffer zones between the colonies and NSP. Traffic congestion due to inadequate thoroughfares through the site.
Enormous football makes it a ideal destination for investing in commercial venturesand retail oriented aspects (informal / formal) Oppurtunity of expansion of physical infrastrusture Redefinition of urban green spaces. Provision of amenities like subways , F.o.b’s , pavements & street lights.
Whether or not the rezoned urban park will be utilised by the local residents.

PARKING FACILITY
CIRCULATION
RETAIL ZONES
Unified basements going 2 level deep is an essential strategy to counter the parking crisis that existsat NSP presently. Undergroundparking as opposed to surface parking frees up valuable real estate for other developments and also mitigates the urban heat island effect caused due to large unshaded paved surafces.
Circulation in the existing NSP site is broken down into 4 undirectional anti clockwise running loops, which reduces the scope of overlapping traffic movements at junctions and haphazard vehicular movements and u-turns.
Formal retail along the pedestrian corridors passing through NSP forms the public interface of the district center. Informal retail activities help in activating the walkways that are outside the district center.
OVERVIEW - The overall scheme for the master plan involves the activation of spaces both within and around NSP. It involves the repopulation of the central core and expansion of the business district. Circulation and effient traffic movement strategies have been a key priority of the scheme. - Emphasis has been laid on retail activities (formal / informal) for activating pedestrian corridors , which now provide better connectivity for the residential areas. Sustainable solutions for landscaping such of indegeneous vegetation and permeable grass pavers were also incorporated in the design. - Segmentation of the district parks yields smaller , managable green spaces. Percolation of pedestrians and two wheeler traffic reduces the security threats that existed earlier. SITE FOR REHAB SCHEME

The Project is a commercial office building for the growing paper industry in Kota Rajasthan. The site is siituated in the premises of the paper industry between two factory shed. The overall aim of the design is to incorporate green spaces inside the building as much as possible with open planning to achieve maximum air flow throughout the structure.
PLANNING ATTRIBUTES The basic planning includes three separate masses connected with corridoors. This allows to form small pockets of landscape and small courtyards inside the building. The entrance of the buildinng is in the East direction where the first mass is placed with reception in the ground floor and meeting room on the first floor for the refteshing morning sun. It is connected to the second mass at the back on the north west corner with a corridor having courtyards on both the sides. The washrooms are placed on each end on both the floors for its maximum accessibility to everyone. Second mass contains account section and cash window on the ground floor in close vicinity of the factory shed for the workers. On the first floor this mass contains the rest room for the director and the manager’s cabin.
FIRST FLOOR PLAN
CLIMATE ATTRIBUTES Second mass is connected again to the third mass with workstations on the ground floor and director’s and secretary cabin on the first floor. This mass is situated on the South-West corner of the building with shading fins to prevent sun heat and maximise daylight. This area is surrounded by Plants on two sides and water body on three sides. Horizontal louvers on the south facade allows maximum sunlight with minimum heat gain.

Although the building is made in exposed brick and concrete the overall theme of the building is kept modern and contemporary. The living area with eye soothing planters on the exterior facade just complements the exposed work. Since the idea was new and got tougher with the decision of cladding the walls, the implementation and way of implementation was really important. At the same time the stack parking facility and the very tight bye laws made it important for us to put extra effort and time on the project.

MODULAR ARCHITECTURE Concept of the design is derived from the module. The module taken is multiplied throughout the shed at different angles.
ELEVATION
The Module used is a triangle which is divided into two parts & bent at an angle of 160 degrees. These triangles are such arranged that every alternate triangle is placed up side down along the line of the previous one.
STRUCTURE ROOF PLAN
The whole structure is supported on space frame. The members of the frame are connected through circular nodes.

Craft, emergent from skill and handed-down traditions is inherent in Indian culture, and is strongly representative of the global understanding of luxury today- that of the hand-made, bespoke, one that speaks of its provenance. Additionally, luxury in this project is expressed through the dexterity and beauty of spatial configurations, lending the space an experiential quality through the incorporation of craft, material, method and design.

Design looks to revive and re-establish a patronage for traditional Indian artisanal skills. India is symbolized by the diversity of its art and culture, yet with the changing paradigm there is a great need to conserve these symbols.

OVERVIEW
-The whole site was divided into several sub plots numbered from 1 to 16. This was second stage of development and included development of S.P. 1, 6,7, 8, 9,10,11 and 14. -Since this is a very large scale project the proper distribution of residential and office buildings were needed and should have been done according to the success rate of the previous deveoplment. So the division was done according to the sub plot divisions. Sub plot 1 and 12 were already having four I.T. office buildings so two more were proposed in the sub plot 1. Sub plots 9,10 and 11 were merged into one to be used for I.T. offices with ground and first floor of the road side buildings to be used for shops. -Similarly sub plots 6 and 7 were merged for residential studios. The ground and first floor of road facing buildings in this subplot are also proposed for commercial shops.
