razil’s “National Da of Graffiti” on March 27 was estalished in 1987 after the death of the artist Alex Vallauri (1949-1987), one of

the pioneers of contemporar uran art in the countr. nopsis of an Uran Memoir is a group exhiition in triute to this iconic date that aims to foster uran art as an artistic and social movement. nopsis of an Uran Memoir presents the works of nineteen razilian artists: Alto*Contraste, ranco, ugre, Camila Crivelenti, Ciro chu, Comone, Criola, Fefa Românova, Goms, Henrique elotti, Ju Violeta, Júlio Vieira, Mag Magrela, Mateus ailon, Panmela Castro, Pecci, iss, Tikka and Vermelho. ach of these artists, through their own stle, represents different voices within their communities.

Nevertheless, the all emrace the importance of ringing color and inspiration to pulic spaces. In this sense, art ecomes accessile to all and strengthens the relationship etween the cit's inhaitants and their environment.

Produced  Annex, Duetto Arts and Uran Walls razil, nopsis of an Uran Memoir is a partnership with Andrew Freedman Home and CUFA - Central Única das Favelas. Part of the proceeds from this exhiition will enefit CUFA programs and projects in the UA.
