Moodle Acceptable Use Policy You will be tested and must make an 80 or better to use Moodle.

What is Moodle? • Moodle is an online classroom environment. • We will use it in a hybrid situation ~ you will be using Moodle to turn stuff in and take quizzes but you will still have to come to class. • It is a privilege NOT a requirement to use Moodle

What to do on Moodle • Enter your real first and last name – Moodle calls you last name a surname – This is how grades are found and entered into the gradebook

• Use the Notes on Moodle to help you get anything you missed in class • Use your time on Moodle wisely ~ don’t chat with your neighbor, get busy!! • Turn your assignments in to Moodle on time.

What not to do on Moodle • Do not use Moodle for a personal posting board. • Do not give your login information to anyone • Do not talk to anyone while taking a quiz on Moodle • Do not open the notes while taking a quiz • Do not use the chat function unless instructed to do so

What can the teacher see on Moodle? • When you turned something in • Your chat history ~ there isn’t any way for you to erase it to keep me from seeing it • Your grades on quizzes, lessons and anything I manually graded • Your personal profile ~ keep it school appropriate • How many times you logged in and what you looked at

Remember • Keep it school appropriate • Using Moodle is a privilege not a requirement • Take the assignments, quizzes, and lessons seriously • Look on Moodle for instructions before asking me a second time.
