Tembisa Sporting Ladies continues to win matches back to back. So far this team of ladies has played a total of eleven games, winning nine games and losing only two. From their well-known 2 victory against Etwatwa, they went on to win 4 -1 against German International Soccer Academy, 2 -1 against PCF Ladies on the 26th of May. They won by 17 - 2 against
Happy Sisters and their last win was 9 - 0 against Rietvlei Soccer Club on the 12th June 2021.
Mphereone, who is the chairman of the team, said one of the toughest tournaments they ever played is the
Mfanakithi Women’s Championship in Tweefontein A, Mpumalanga . It was a three days tournament that started from the 18th and ended on 20th of December 2020.
“There was a rule that for a team to be crowned a champion they need to win all six remaining games. Whereas a loser automatically had to play three games on Sunday to become overall winners, and we lost our first games that Friday but

still qualified to play three remaining games on Sunday and we won all three games and yes, in the end we were crowned Champions of the Mfanakithi Women’s Championship,” said Mphereone.
“ My outstanding players on that day should be my Captains, Ms Nompumelelo “China” Phakathi, Bryden “Ceejay” Mokobi, Hope Masimula and the entire Tembisa Sporting Ladies, they are really outstanding. And my Captain on that day of the tournament Ms Surprise “Mgijimi” Chaba went to join Coal City Wizards in the national Hollywoodbets Super League”
The team currently sits on position 3, with JVW on top of the league with 30 points, followed closely by Phomolong Ladies with 28 points.
Unfortunately, the team still doesn’t have a sponsor, although they are trying with everything in their power to secure one.
Coach Kgabo Mphereone
“My plea as the Chairman of the team to all the businesses and the community at large is their support. We have a very dedicated and hardworking team that needs our help. Some of these young girls are from disadvantaged families and when we have to play our away games, it becomes a problem. Although I and my Technical Director, Mr Lethabo Mathekga are trying with whatever we have to cover the costs, they become too much for both of us. At least a sponsorship or any form of donation will really help the team,” he pleaded.
Meet one of the most versatile artists
by Dumisani Hlatswayo
There are few artists as multitalented as Prince Tebogo Letsholo, or Jaysuu as he is known. It’s easy for any Christian to confuse it for “Jesu” or Jesus. But he is quick to point out that, in fact, the name Jaysuu has nothing to do with the son of God, but a Thai expression for good heart.
Born in Rustenburg in the Northwest, the 27-year-old muso relocated to Johannesburg at a younger age.
“The music bug hit me while I was still at school. I used to listen to different genres, but once I started listening to the likes of HHP, I was inspired to do the same music,” he recalled.
Jaysuu said he started to be involved in music when he was only 10 years old. He honed his dying skills in his bedroom. At the age of 14, he started to listen to more hip-hop. “ Then I studied fitting and turning (engineering-related designs) and Safety, Health, and Environmental Management. But I will always find time to perform for big clubs like Caselinda, Oxygen lodge, Club Silk, Sky bar, Coconut bar, and Reggies,” said Jaysuu.
He did grand opening performances for Moruleng Stadium and Mall, IROCK Music Fest, Legends Barber Ect. Grand, Mobidixon, Donald, Fifi Cooper, Young Swizz, and many others.
“I have played alongside big stars like Dr. Malinga, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Kwesta, A-Reece, Lady Zama, Black Coffee, and Dino Bravo,” said the versatile DJ.
