Massimo Dutti surprised its guests once again with a unique fashion and technology event. The Bund -an old industrial zone in the centre of Shanghai converted into an artistic avant-garde area- was the chosen setting to present the collection ‘The Art of Reflections’. It became a microcosm illustrating the new concept driving the brand. Inspired by the desire to excel and the search for excellence, Massimo Dutti created a solid aesthetic narrative developed using the effects of studied patterns of light and shadow in a conceptual and unique show. Based on this play of light and shadow, from the inside of a cubicle with translucent walls, silhouettes appear of the models walking round a circular catwalk that emerges from a watery background.

A revolutionary exercise in architecture and fashion, very much in line with what the brand has shown in its recent fashion shows.

The new store meets the objective of offering new experiences of unique and exclusive shopping and occupies an old stately house built in the neoclassical style, which has been completely restored. Massimo Dutti has dedicated the ground floor to the display and sale of its women’s collections, dividing it into different rooms that the interior design team has decorated individually.

A spectacular fireplace of incalculable historical value presides over one of the main rooms on the ground floor, where the Massimo Dutti Women’s collections are featured. All of the collections displayed in this room are placed around the perimeter on furniture designed ad hoc for the general atmosphere of the space, coexisting with other elements such as a suspended Murano glass chandelier and a spectacular rug.

The Men’s Collection is located on the first floor, with specific areas for the Night, Casual and Tailored collections, as well as an area with accessories in what was once the building’s tower. The interior design of this floor gives off a feel of exclusivity and elegance thanks to the selection of noble materials and personalised furniture.

The search for a mixture between different cultures and the contrast between traditional and contemporary elements are the aesthetic grounds for this room where the till area and bookstore have been placed. The turret of the original house has been converted into a room used for the sale of accessories. The walls have been covered in cork and exclusive furniture has been designed by the interior design team.

In the basement you can find the new perfume collection, Massimo Dutti Scents Collection, in a room of the house’s original kitchen. The renovation project includes the construction of a large class cube that rises from the basement of the building to the upper floors, which is visible from the street and lights up at night.

Once again this year, Massimo Dutti was present to support the 107th International Jumping competition. Massimo Dutti has been cultivating a close relationship with elite members of the world of show jumping since 1990. For this reason, Massimo Dutti has sponsored these types of events that bring together both lovers of all things equestrian as well as the cream of high society, who don’t want to miss the chance to enjoy these sporting events. On this occasion, the Barcelona Club de Polo became, not only the headquarters for the most prestigious show jumping event, but also a festival of creative experiences, trends, gastronomy, lifestyle and entertainment activities under the CSIO Barcelona banner. The Polo Field, one of the largest green spaces in the city, was transformed for three days into a large area with a variety of activities for all ages. There was a range of fun, and family-oriented activities related to nature and the equestrian world, sensitive to and respectful of the environment. The children’s area included the Little Riders Corner provided by Massimo Dutti and the Theodora Foundation. For little ones there was a pony park, the chance to have their first contact with a horse and lots of fun and games in the arts and crafts area.

Massimo Dutti’s equestrian season continues with another year as sponsor of the Longines Fei Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. For the sixth year in a row, CSIO Barcelona will host the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final, the most important competition in the international equestrian calendar.

OVER THE THREE DAYS, THE OLYMPIC ARENA OF THE REAL CLUB DE POLO DE BARCELONA WAS BE THE VENUE FOR SIX COMPETITIONS, WITH THE MOST OUTSTANDING RIDERS FROM THE EQUESTRIAN WORLD. THE BELGIAN TEAM WAS PROCLAIMED THE WINNER OF THE LONGINES FEI JUMPING NATIONS CUP, IN A THRILLING FINAL.

Madrid In Motion has been crowned the first champion of the GCL Super Cup in the O2 Arena in Prague. The obstacles horse jumping team, sponsored by Massimo Dutti, put the finishing touch on a season heaped with success. The sixteen best teams of the Global Champions League season faced off in an exciting tournament of knockout rounds that lasted for four days.

SUPER CUP FINAL GCL THE FINAL Jan Tops turned the equestrian sport upside down three years ago with the creation of the Global Champions League. After the resounding success of this new model of team competitions, the winner of a gold Olympic medal for the Netherlands is the creator of the GC Prague Super Cup- within the new format for the Prague Play Offs. The sixteen best teams of the season came together in the O2 Arena in Prague to compete for a trophy worth €6.4 million. THE TOUR Reaffirming its commitment to sponsorship of showjumping events, Massimo Dutti has been present at several of the most important international events held under the banner of the Longines Global Champions Tour. 19 teams participated in this circuit consisting of 16 competitions. €35 million were given out in prizes; with an individual final in Doha, and a super final for teams and an individual super Gran Prix held in Prague from December 13th to 16th. THE TEAM Sponsored by Massimo Dutti, the winning team of the GCL Super Cup, Madrid in Motion, is made up of renowned riders Maikel van der Vleuten, his father Eric van der Vleuten, Marc Houtzager, Eduardo Álvarez Aznar and Michael G. Massimo Dutti reloca-tes its Malaga concept store to a site right in the city’s historic centre.

The relaunch of the new concept store on Munch’s Theatinerstrasse includes the latest technological advances, providing the advanced sustainability and ecoefficiency the project requires and offering a space for art works as part of Massimo Dutti’s support for contemporary art.

The new multi-space store is almost 850m2 of space distributed across two floors that include a collage of atmospheres each with their own identity within the overall aesthetic. Here you’ll find the Women, Men, Limited Edition collections, as well as the latest Massimo Dutti perfume collection, Scents.
