16 Rare antique Saint Louis close packed millefiori mushroom and torsade paperweight. Rod bundles and concentric complex canes of florets and stars, with occasional cog and tube elements, are all gathered tightly into a mushroom cap and pulled downward into a colorful stem, predominantly in pink, green, white and blue. An amber spiral-encased white chaplet bead torsade surrounds the base of the mushroom, topped by a single mercury ring. Clear, star-cut ground. Diameter 3 1/8" $3,500 — 5,000
