1. Extremely rare Antique Baccarat faceted tricolor bouquet paperweight, with a central white pompon, two purple, blue, and white pan­ sies, a red double clematis, buds, and green leaves, on clear star-cut ground. Six and one facets. Diameter 3 9/16". $17,000-22,000

2. Rare Antique Saint Louis clear-encased upright bouquet paperweight, containing a central white lampwork flower, surrounded by four smaller lampwork and cane flowers, and bright green leaves, in a single white overlay, with six and one facets, on clear star-cut ground.

3. Extremely rare, possibly unique, antique Bacchus “mirror-image” close packed millefiori glass inkwell, with an identical pattern of millefiori in the base and in the matching stopper, composed of assorted crimped rods and complex canes, encircled by a ring of blue-lined, white, crimped tubes. The base and stopper were perhaps made from the same complex cane- a very unusual tehnique. The clear bottle has a tapered neck, a flared rim, and a clear footed base.

Unpolished pontil. Some surface wear, small bruise in side of stopper. Height 6 1/4". $12,000-20,000 4. Rare Antique Baccarat dated blue and white star carpet ground paperweight, containing a “B 1848” signature/date cane, and assorted scattered complex millefiori, including shamrocks, arrows, quatrefoils, and stars, as well as Gridel silhouette canes of a butterfly, a deer, a rooster, a goat, and a dog, all embedded in a ground of cobalt blue and white six-pointed star/bundled rod canes.

Nice Antique Baccarat concentric millefiori mushroom paperweight, with a central stardust/bull’s-eye complex cane, in red and white, encircled by four concentric rings of complex canes, including one ring of red rose and green leaf portrait canes. The border is composed of cobalt blue, red, and white complex canes, which are pulled down to form the mushrooms stem. The design also contains a cobalt blue spiral-encased white latticinio torsade, which is bordered by two thin air ring inclusions, over clear star-cut ground.

Excellent Antique Clichy looped millefiori garland on color ground paperweight, containing a five-loop garland, with each loop and its linking end composed of a different type and color of complex millefiori. The design includes a white and green complex cane center, and five spaced canes, two of which are white roses, resting between the garlands loops, on an opaque dark red ground.

Unusual Antique Clichy white rose and millefiori on moss ground paperweight, with a central white and green rose cane, encircled by a ring of purple cog canes, on a ground of green moss canes, which is decorated with two spaced rings of pink and white canes, within a green and white stave basket.

The base of the bouquet is encircled by a translucent red and white spiraling torsade, which is bordered by an air ring inclusion. The piece is cut with all-over circular facets.

Antique Baccarat faceted floral and millefiori garland paperweight, containing a large red-banded white flower, a small white flower, green leaves, and curved stem, encircled by a millefiori garland, on clear star-cut ground. The garland is composed of white, blue, and red complex cog canes, which alternate with white star/red rose canes. The piece is finished with two rings of circular side facets.

Unusual Antique Saint Louis miniature seven-color crown paperweight, with a complex cane centered on radiat­ ing curved twists and latticinio rods, which come together at the base of the piece. The twists include colorful combinations of red and green, red and blue, and pistachio and blue, which alternate with spiraling latticinio, in red and white, yellow and white, blue and white, and plain white.

Antique Clichy open concentric millefiori paperweight, composed of a center cluster of seven pink and green rose canes, bordered by a turquoise and white collar, and encircled by a ring of yellow tubes, each containing eight tiny pink and pale green roses at its center. The piece includes a slightly irregular ring of eighteen pink and green roses, as well as a border garland of assorted complex canes, on clear ground.

The ring of canes around the border alternate between pink cog/red and blue flower canes, blue-collared pink bulls-eye canes, and red, blue, and white blue complex flower canes, each with a tiny pink rose center.

The center of the piece contains a green and white complex cane, which has a tiny silhouette of a white camel, on a background of blue, encircled by a ring of red six-pointed stars. The piece is completed with six concen­ tric rings of assorted complex millefiori and bordered by a ring of green, white, and red cog canes, which extend under the design to form a basket.
