My heartiest greetings to you all on the arrival of New Year 2011 and may all your Endeavors and plans achieve great success filled with health and happiness. Last six months were packed with activities, programs, workshops, seminars, visits and celebrations. One thing common in all was the multiplication of spirit and enthusiasm to do better than the best. If we take account of the last six months, the results show that we did it. The District Governor, Region Chairperson, Zone Chairperson, President, Secretary or the Treasure or I – we all have equal time to demonstrate our ability and capacity. There shall not be next time. And if at all you get, it is always the first impression that all remembers. With the increase in clubs and memberships, it further strengthens our hands to accomplish greater activities and larger areas. It has become synonymous since couple of years that we grow faster and wider. We have crossed the mark of 125 clubs and there is many more in line. The credit goes to the contribution of activities by Lion in our District. And when that is available in abundance, the growth is inevitable. The season of Region Conference (ReCon) has started. While complimenting the RC, I request all the Lions to attend the ReCon with their entire family and see how Lionism is enjoyed. I Remain,

We are not running for breaking of records but the simple fact is that time is running out. Nothing is interesting in life if we are not interest. We need to forget our own unhappiness for others to be happy. Therefore, we need to answer every call and bring back the smile on the lakhs of faces that we see around. Truly this is called Living is Giving.

Excellence has always been achieved by those who dared to believe that something inside of then is superior to the circumstances. So be positive. To act alone you have the right, never for its fruits. Let not the longing for fruits be the motive force of your action. At the sametime, let not this stipulation lead you to persist in indolent inaction. 11
