Dear Fellow Lions, The Lionistic Year 2021-22 experienced the past seven months with hectic activities and our district stands in forefront in all administrative and service activities. To mention some of them: - Net growth of 390+ new members. - Extension of 7 new clubs. - Leadership seminars. - Reporting of service activities by all clubs. 16.5 lakhs people have been served till date. - 128 Lions enrolled as MJFs / PMJFs. - LCIF contribution from most of the Clubs. - 100% reporting of WMR to LCI. - Relieving hunger programmes by maximum clubs individually and jointly. 44+ clubs have received my contribution of Rs.3000 to organise relieving hunger programme. More than 2 lakhs people have been benefitted. Total member of people till date is thirteen lakhs. - 3rd District Cabinet Meeting was held on Sunday, 2nd January, at Zoom platform. - The region conferences scheduled during the month of January 2021 have been postpone for a later date on account of Covid-19 Pandemic. COVID vaccine booster is also available for 60 years and above age, please take the advantage. Next activity to talk is “Pediatric Cancer” by our Clubs. CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR FEBRUARY 2022 Honouring Past District Governors Month of February is dedicated for our Past District Governors and we owe our appreciation and praise their year and say thank you for all the glory they have given to our District. They have toiled and brought laurels to our District Ladies Nite and Sarojini Naidu Birthday - 13th February In a tribute to the Nightingale of India, Lion Ladies observe Ladies Nite in the month of February commemmorating birthday of Sarojini Naidu.

World Cancer Day - 4th February World Cancer Day is an International Day marked on February 14 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection and treatment. Happy Valentines Day - 14th February Valentine’s Day is celebrated on 14th February every year and to express gratitude and love to dear ones. The Loveliest week of the year, the Valentine’s week or Love Week!... The love week starts with the Rose Day followed by Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day and finished with the Happy Valetines Day. Appointment of Nomination Committee Every Club President should appoint at the Club level a Nomination Committee normally headed by the Imm. Past President to give the recommendation of the Committee for the next year, the Team of Board of Directors. This announcement has to be done in the month of February. Payment of International / District Dues It is expected that every Club should be in good standing, meaning the Club should have paid in full the International Dues that include the entire Lionistic Year. Based on these facts of payment the credentials are issued at the time of District Convention. Every Club is expected to care of this important aspect stating that every Club must be in a good standing. It is equally important like International Dues that every Club is expected to clear District Dues. For more information Clubs can contact District Office and get the details.
