NEW! BACKPACKING 101

Hit the trails with confidence and learn the fundamentals of backpacking. ARCHERY (8 YRS & UP)

FAMILY BONFIRE

Come on out to the Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve for a bonfire. We will have some glow in the dark activities for the whole family followed by s’mores and juice. HAUNTED FAMILY CAMP OUT

Join us at Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve for an evening of outdoor games, nature walks, story-telling near the fire, s’mores, and family fun! There will be a tent decorating contest, pumpkin painting, and be sure to bring some candy for ‘tent or treating’. Price is per person. Children under 2 are free. Bring your own picnic style dinner. Are you itching to get outside but not sure where to start? Then this class is for you! SUNSET PADDLE

TEACHING YOUR CHILD TO RIDE A BIKE (18 YRS & UP)

Learning to ride a bike is a major childhood milestone. In this class, taught by a certified cycling instructor, you’ll learn how to choose the right bike and discover tips and techniques that will have your child riding in no time. Come out and explore the natural wonders of Arbor Hills Nature Preserve! A Texas Master Naturalist will guide you along the way. Each month will be a different theme. ASTRONOMY & NATURE AT NIGHT (10 YRS & UP)

See a different side to nature, exploring the stars and night sky! A trained guide will take you through the nature preserve while you learn about the many constellations, how to navigate at night, astronomy, and even the nocturnal animals in the area.
