Programming for Adults 50+ is offered at all Plano recreation centers including the Sam Johnson Recreation Center for Adults 50+ located at 401 W. 16th Street. In addition to the courses, activities and trips listed in this section, the Sam Johnson Recreation Center, accredited by the National Institute of Senior Centers, offers the following:
TUESDAY NIGHT DANCES
Every Tuesday evening, 7pm-9:15pm

Every Thursday afternoon, 12:30pm - 2pm

The Wellness Center for Older Adults of Collin County, a charitable 501(c)(3) agency, is located inside the Sam Johnson Recreation Center and is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm.
