Except in the case of ISC, CBSE and NIOS (or if a student has obtained exemption due to learning disability), in other words, in all State Boards, a student has to study another language along with English.,While the most common choices offered are the respective State languages, Hindi and Sanskrit, some schools/pre-university colleges do offer French and other foreign languages.,
