COMPULSORY WORKSHOP 3D Studio Health and Safety Induction Workshop Mandatory for students in the following programs: BFA Foundation, BFA First year Photography, BFA Fine Arts, BFA/MA Interior Design, MA/MFA Drawing.

When: Saturday, January 15, 2022 Time: 11AM-2 PM Where: 3D Studio: 001

• No food or drink is permitted in the 3D studio. • Only Students and Faculty who have been properly trained may use 3D facilities. • Students must attend the Health and Safety Induction workshop • Students are not permitted to work alone in the studio. • Students must be dressed appropriately to work in the studio. Students are required to clean up before leaving the studio. • Dress appropriately: ¯ Long Pants, ¯ Close-toed shoes, ¯ Shirt or blouse that covers the upper arm, collar bone, and midsection, ¯ Long hair tied back ¯ No loose jewelry

When: Saturday, January 22 Time: 10AM-11AM Where: Meet at the Gallery

The digital and analog photo facilities are reserved for students currently enrolled in the photo department. Students enrolled in other departments must seek and receive permission either from the Chair or the equipment hub coordinator. Absolutely no food or drink in all labs, and studios. Handle all equipment with care and remember that any equipment borrowed in your name is your (financial) responsibility. Keep the facilities clean and tidy. Keep your equipment and supplies in your locker when not in u se. Be on time. Whether it is for a class or for a scheduled pick-up or return of equipment, or a studio reservation. All reservations must be made – and approved – in advance. The darkroom is only available for students having taken an introductory black & white photo class. Do not alter any settings on the computer monitors. Do not move cables or reconfigure/ modify any systems. Do not install software on any station. Do not put anything except the document you are scanning on top of the flatbed scanners. Bulk printing is not allowed.

COMPULSORY WORKSHOPS

Printmaking studio induction Mandatory for students who wish to take Printmaking studio.

There is no acess to the studio when(no exception) there is a class (please be respecftul of the classroom and use the other way to the coffee machine). No one can use the facilities ouside of CAP sessions, please refer to the schedule to verify if it is open. The Printmaking Studio is accessible only to students currently enrolled in a Printmaking Course and senior students who have already completed a Printmaking Course, current Printmaking CAP Assistants fullfilling their shifts. You are responsible to clean your work space and properly store back every material used before leaving the Printmaking Studio. Any student working into the workshop has to respect the authority of the Printmaking teachers and CAP assistants. CAP assistants are responsible for the studio and material and have the authority to override any student who does not respect the studio’s rules. Only students currently enrolled in a Printmaking Course have access to the consumable material. External students have to purchase all of their own supplies. Students are not allowed to eat in the studio. Even drinking liquids should be avoided. Water drinking will be tolerated only when in closable containers and stay shut and in your bag.
