2024 - 2025 GIVING + GETTING INVOLVED AT PARISH

Purpose

Parish Fund Parish Gala Booster Clubs

Parish Fund is the School’s largest and most important annual fundraising effort. It assists in advancing the mission of the School and creating unique opportunities for our students.

How it Supports Parish Parish Fund provides direct funding annually for educational initiatives that tuition alone does not cover. Every gift directly benefits every student, every day at Parish.

Hosted by the Parents’ Association, the Parish Gala is a night of both fundraising and fellowship that includes dinner, dancing, raffle, Big Board and Live auction. Parish Gala is always a special night as we gather to celebrate the Parish community.

Athletic Booster Club (ABC), The Arts People (TAP) and sySTEMs are parent-led clubs focused on fundraising and fellowship. Their mission is to support Parish Panthers and their passions!

This annual golf event is a beloved Parish tradition and raises money for the Gloria H. Snyder Fund, specifically supporting the School’s tuition assistance program.

A week dedicated 2000+ Parish and Parish Episcopal School alumni, Proud Week is on alumni giving.

The main goal of each Parish book fair is similar to the main goal of the library - to provide access to materials that will enrich our students’ lives. The Hillcrest campus hosts a book fair around the winter holidays each year, and the Midway campus hosts a book fair near the end of the school year to encourage reading throughout the summer.

during Proud Week are in honor of members, to support Alumni-named scholarships Mira Foshee Salley Fund Spirito ‘08 Scholarship.

Whether students are reading for knowledge or fun, they are expanding their minds through books. The book fairs supplement the libraries’ mission to provide materials to meet the educational and independent reading needs of students.

Market your business to the Parish community during the school year through on-campus banners, print and digital advertising and more. Benefit from exposure to not only Parish families, but campus visitors and the broader Dallas community as well.

An endowment fund can be compared to a long-term investment plan. It is a permanent fund in which the principal is invested and the earnings are spent. Endowment gifts ensure a bright future for Parish Episcopal School and its students.

Blair-Snyder Society (Planned Giving) Capital or Major Gift Campaign

The Blair-Snyder Society is a planned giving program named after Parish’s first two headmasters, Mary Loving Blair and Gloria H. Snyder, who both ensured that their legacy of love for students would continue in perpetuity. Planned giving is a donor’s intention to contribute a major gift beyond their lifetime; gifts such as these greatly benefit the School long term.

A capital or major gift campaign is a targeted, large-scale fundraising effort that takes place over a defined period of time, and is conducted by the School in order to bring in a large injection of capital investment to support the physical space, programs or other areas of the School.

Funds raised through our corporate sponsorship program support the Athletics, Arts and STEM booster clubs at Parish. There are also opportunities to support Gala and the Parish Golf Tournament through event underwriting.

Yearly earnings from the general endowment are used to supplement the School’s operating budget or toward restricted purposes if designated as such.

Join the Blair-Snyder Society by naming Parish Episcopal School in your estate plans. Gifts can include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, charitable lead trusts, life insurance policies and select gifts of real estate. There is no minimum gift and gifts may be designated to a specific purpose, department or program, or to the general endowment.

Parish’s most recent capital campaign, Limitless, was completed in 2019 and funded the construction of the Gene E. Phillips Activity Center and Noble Family Performing Arts Center.

2025 The Hillcrest campus book fair is typically held in December and the Midway campus book fair is typically held in May. Fall, to maximize business exposure throughout the year; however, sponsorships are accepted throughout the year.
