YOUR SUPPORT 19

THANK YOU FOR ADVANCING OUR MISSION.

ABOUT THE REPORT

We thank our donors for their generosity and are honored to list them in the 2022-2023 Report on Philanthropy.

Francis Parker School is supported by families who understand that their giving makes a Parker education possible for every student. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Parker education; it is our strong endowment and families who make annual gifts that advance our mission.

We have made every effort to ensure the accuracy of this report. Donors recognized in the Annual Giving section made gifts between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023, in support of Parker’s endowment, current-use operating needs, and capital projects.

In order to lessen our environmental impact (and still produce a report worthy of your readership!), we made the decision to remove the “Donors by Constituency” section. The Anonymous listing does not appear in the Annual Giving section as anonymous donors made gifts at every gift level.

If you have questions about your donor recognition or would like more information about giving opportunities, please contact Shara Freeman Hoefel, Assistant Head of School for External Relations, at 858/569-7900 or shoefel@francisparker.org.

For information, visit www.francisparker.org/giving

ABOUT THE DESIGN

The artistic theme reflected in the Report on Philanthropy was inspired by a design featured in a national newspaper’s special issue for kids. The Report plays-off the eye-catching and creative scheme and draws attention to the names of the people who make the Parker experience possible for our students throughout the generations.

YOUR SUPPORT

Annual giving provides Parker with critical resources—a steady stream of funds that keep the School moving forward. Your philanthropic support helps us cover most of the $3,600-per-student difference between the actual cost of a Parker education and what is covered by tuition. Annual gifts ensure that the Parker experience is both distinctive and accessible. While families have children attending Parker, we ask them to place the School among their top philanthropic priorities, but broader-based support is important too. Prospective families and grant-making foundations look favorably upon high giving participation from across the community because it demonstrates far-reaching confidence in the School and our mission.

During this giving season, which runs through June 30, 2024, you will have many opportunities to proudly support the School. You can take advantage of current tax-year benefits by making a contribution by Dec. 31, 2023. Unlike tuition, gifts to support Parker are fully tax-deductible.

We thank you in advance for your philanthropic investment. The collective power of everyone’s support advances the mission as far as the mind can see.
