PLANT EXCHANGE

Tuesday 9 August 11.00am - 12.00pm Do you have any plants in your home? Join this session, learn how to take cuttings off indoor plants to grow lots more and also exchange some plants with others.

Heathway Lates is a new project that brings opportunities for residents and organisations to host and be part of sessions in the evening. This summer the Lates sessions are in collaboration with the Dagenham library and will be held in the different spaces within, so join your neighbours and get involved! All Lates sessions will be held at Dagenham Library, 1 Church Elm Lane, Dagenham, RM10 9NR

AEROPONICS 101 FUTURE GREENING

Wednesday 6 July 5.00 - 6.00pm Have you seen the Aeroponics unit in the Dagenham Heathway shop? For this session you will be able to learn how to start the process of growing without soil. Wednesday 27 July 5.00 - 6.00pm It’s time to put the aeroponics machine together and give the seedlings the best start! Join this exciting session where you’ll be able to learn how to assemble the machine.

RECIPE SHARING MINDFULNESS

Wednesday 24 August 5.00 - 6.00 pm Join in, share and swap your favourite recipes with your neighbours. Bring along any recipe that you love and help collate a book full of local residents’ favourite recipes! Wednesday 7 September 5.30 - 6.30pm This session is an opportunity to be conscious of how you look after yourself and discuss all things Mindfulness. Meet at the library and join this session with Vince!

Great Cook sessions are a fun and easy way for people to batch cook meals together. Everyone brings one ingredient from a recipe, cooks together, and takes home portions for the week.

TRADE SCHOOL Trade School is an alternative learning space that runs on barter. Anyone can teach anything they are interested in or skilled at - experiences, practical skills and big ideas are valued equally. No money changes hands, instead teachers say what they’d like in exchange for sharing, and people sign up by agreeing to bring a barter item from the list.
