Connection of bituminous roofing membrane to VELUX flat roof window Window type: CVP, CFP 2 Lead fibreglass reinforced bottom layer to the edge of the hole in the roof and fix with galvanised clout nails. On plank roof constructions fix bottom layer with galvanised clout nails in overlap areas. Depending on area (inner, outer, corner area) fit nails with 5-10 cm intervals. Ensure adhesion at overlaps.

Connection of bituminous roofing membrane to VELUX flat roof window Window type: CVP, CFP 3 Apply bituminous primer on the entire surface of the kerb of the flat roof window. Note! The bitumen primer must be completely dry before continuing with the bottom layer.
4 Fix kerb to roof with 3.5 x 60 mm screws supplied according to the installation instructions. Do not remove the protective foil until the installation has been completed!
