Passi Erratici is a contemporary art show held yearly in Turin at Museo Nazionale della Montagna in the frame of the festival “Torino e le Alpi” promoted by Compagnia di San Paolo. The first edition of the show took place in September 2014 in two venues: the Mountain Musuem in Turin and the Exilles Fort in Exilles. The artists involved were: Laura Pugno, Alessandro Quaranta, How We Dwell, Brave New Alps, Jonathan Vivacqua, Enrico Gaido, Luca Giacosa, Fabio Battistetti, Francesco Del Conte. The aim of the project is to reflect on the relationship that occurs between cities and mountains, human landscape and wilderness. The core of Passi Erratici is a kind of walking residency of one week in the Western Alps, in which the artists discuss the topics of the show and figure out the site specific interventions for the exhibitions.
The second edition of the show is scheduled for July 2015.
