CUBSTRUCTION Open to all Cub Scouts and siblings entering 1st - 5th grade in Fall 2017. Day Camp allows you to spend a few days doing fun and meaningful outdoor activities with your Scout at a location near you! Day Camp serves as a valuable aid in the progression from Tiger Cub to Cub Scout to Boy Scout. It also serves as the perfect summertime recruitment and retention tool for the pack, and helps strengthen den and pack organization for better year-round program. Our program is specifically aimed at Tiger, Wolf, and Bear Cub Scouts. Participants do not stay overnight. Camp hours vary by location, but run approximately 9am to 3pm daily. Family Camp introduces Cubs to the overnight camping experience with the comfort of their family or den, and can serve as an exciting addition to your pack’s program! Come on out and experience the fun and excitement of camping combined with innovative programs that are sure to create lasting memories for your Scouting family. STUNNING! This is what you will say upon arriving to Camp Betz, which sits on the bank of the St. Joseph River. This extremely scenic property is complete with shooting sports, a craft pavilion, dining hall, and a waterfront perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. Camp Frank S. Betz is a 57-acre preserve that has been in continuous service since 1922. It contains a variety of terrain and rugged topography. Camp Betz offers beautiful wooded campsites for tent camping. Flush toilets and showers are available. You must provide your own family tent and camping equipment. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this property and enjoy all its beauty!

RENEKER FAMILY CAMP Open to all Scouting families and the general public. For five decades, Camp Reneker has provided quality camping experiences to Scout families at a very affordable cost. Nestled at the south end of Owasippe Scout Reservation, Reneker Family Camp provides outdoor recreation programs for the whole family.
Weekly sessions begin 1 p.m. on each Sunday and end by 11 a.m. on the following Saturday.

Camp Reneker offers 40 cabins arranged in two clusters of 20. Our cabins sleep 4-5 people and have kitchens and living rooms. Each cluster has a central, private toilet and shower facility. These two central buildings also have laundry facilities. Numerous food options will be available during your stay at Reneker. Other features available when staying at Family Camp include a swimming pool, basketball courts and a trading post. All of this comes with a dedicated staff whose goal is to assist each family in getting the most out of their camp experience. Join us for all the fun and adventure.
CAMP RENEKER PROGRAM
Camp Reneker offers a wide range of programs for all ages. The day starts with ageappropriate activities and continues into the afternoon and evening with family oriented programs. Your Cub Scout can even earn numerous activity awards! Our trained and dedicated staff leads family campers through activities that include swimming, fishing, crafts, hiking, BB gun shooting, archery and more. *There are also exciting age-appropriate Outpost opportunities available such as horseback riding at the Diamond O Ranch, ziplining, rock climbing, canoe trips, sailing, and much more! *Additional fee may apply.

Get ready for the adventure of the year that will build lifelong memories for your Scout! Cub Scouts will participate in larger-than-life activities while earning advancements at Adventure Camp.

Lake Gladys is the beautiful focal point of Adventure Camp with a swimming waterfront, boating and fishing pier. With 500 acres, there is something for everyone to enjoy! When you join us at Adventure Camp, you can enjoy sleeping in the comfort of your own tent, or have us provide a tent equipped with a ground pad that will be set up and waiting for you when you arrive. Just bring your own sleeping bag and pillow! All meals are provided, and your Scout will be able to visit the trading post for souvenirs! The camping area has flush toilets and clean, modern hot showers. Cub Scout Overnight Camp is open to all registered Wolf & Bear Scouts. You may choose to register as a pack or individually. If registering individually, a parent/guardian must attend with the Scout. No matter which date or program you choose, you and your Scout will have the chance to swim, boat, fish, shoot BB & archery, take a turn down our inflatable water slide, hike, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Your Webelos Scout will participate in adventures set at a higher level of difficulty based on his ability, with specialty programs incorporated to create a memorable experience. Your Scout’s experience will include opportunities for fun and advancement and will surely build excitement for his next adventure at Boy Scout Resident Camp. No tent? No sweat! Upon arrival, a tent and ground pad will be set up and waiting for you in our tent city so all that you will need to bring is your own sleeping bag and pillow! Families that prefer to bring their own gear are more than welcome as plenty of space will be provided. Webelos
Overnight Camp Open to Webelos Scouts entering 4th or 5th grade in Fall 2017.
9900 Russell Road, Twin Lake, MI 49457 Join us as Webelos Scouts explore the Michigan wilderness while participating in awesome camp programs! Webelos will also have an opportunity to shoot archery and BB guns, fish and even go in a row boat on Lake Wolverine. The camp’s large swimming pool is always a refreshing change of pace on a warm summer afternoon when Scouts will be able to practice swimming skills with a trained instructor and enjoy aquatic fun. Beautiful Camp Carlen at Owasippe Scout Reservation is home to four sessions of Webelos Overnight Camp. Campsites are nestled in the woods and savannah, high above Sauger Lake’s shore. Each site has hot water showers and flush toilets. With a stay at Camp Carlen, Webelos will get an idea of the fun that awaits them when they transition into Boy Scouts. From corner to corner on Owasippe Scout Reservation’s 5,000 acres, there is a new adventure to be found each summer. Fact sheets released on our website for all camps with dates, locations, fees and more! Look for printed copies at December roundtables! Packs sign up online for a camp promotion and free blue and gold banquet placemats at http://tinyurl.com/CampPromoSignup until December 31st. January 1 – March 31: All packs receive a PTAC camp promotion presentation at their blue and gold banquet or other large pack function. Presenter hands out free placemats and unveils a new Cub Scout camp prize game at your designated pack function! March: Free PTAC Camp Kickoffs are held at Cabela’s from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 4th in Hammond, IN and on March 25th in Hoffman Estates, IL. These events are open to everyone and feature informational booths and hands-on camp activities. April 1 – April 30: All PTAC units host a Summer Camp Sign-up Night at a unit meeting or other unit gathering to share all final camp information and take commitments from Scouts and families for 2017 summer camps! May 1: All Cub Scout packs and Cub Scout families attending any PTAC Cub Scout camp must make a $5 deposit per person online by May 1st to qualify for our lowest rates. Final balances must be paid in full online by June 1st.
