READY FOR A NEW SERVICE YEAR? Welcome to the PATHFINDER Welcome to the March newsletter of the District Editor of the New Jersey District of Key Club International. It is nearing the end of our terms on the board and District convention is rapidly approaching. I am excited for convention and all the fun memories to be had during that weekend. This weekend is also very bitter sweet for me since this will mark the end of my term and the beginning of the end of my Key Club career. Hopefully I will be able to go to International Convention to have one last Key Club gathering before I leave Key Club. I plan to go on to Circle K and Kiwanis in my future but I will never forget my days spent in Key Club. The New New Jersey District Board At our Midwinter Training Conference, we met all the new Lieutenant Governor Elects for the 2015 to 2016 Service Year. Photoshop Tools Photoshop is a great program and can be very useful program for anyone in Key Club. It is good for editing photographs, its good for making flyers, and much more. To the beginners trying to learn Photoshop, it might be quite intimidating. There are a lot of different tools which can do a lot of different tasks. I wont be able to turn you into an expert on the program, but I’ll try to give you a head up on using the program which will hopefully lead you on your way.

Magic Wand This tool allows you to automatically select part of an image which has the same, or very similar color. Very usual when making flyers. Crop This tool allows you to crop an image. You can cut off the sides of an image if you don’t want it. Text This tool allows you to add text to your image. Useful when making flyers. Eyedropper This tool allows you to click on a color in your image and then it will become the color of your paint brush. Paint Brush This tool allows you to draw. Its pretty straight forward. Eraser This tool allows you to erase parts of your image. Again pretty straight forward
Selection This tool allows you to select a certain portion of your image. There is also circle and free-form selection available to utilize.
