Adventures with Scouts

Winner Winner Steak Dinner‌ OK, maybe more than a steak
The Ste. Anne Lions Club has been fundraising for the construction project of a STARS Helipad to be located behind the Ste. Anne Hospital so that stars air ambulance can land at the building. They currently land next to the RM of Ste. Anne office at the south end of the community. Their most recent fundraiser was a summer BBQ meat draw. The winners were picked at the Lions Club meeting on August 1. First prize - Portable Propane BBQ and 12 Ribeye steaks goes to Glen N, second prize - Portable Cooler and 8 Ribeye Steaks goes to Ernie L, third prize – two director style lawn chairs and 4 a permanent program in Ste. Anne Ribeye steaks goes to Chris R. This fundraiser raised $765 towards the cost by January. They are currently seeking volunteers to help make this posof the project.

Used Book Sale – From Saturday, September 1 – Sunday, September 2, 10 am – 4 pm at the Curling Club during Dawson Trail Days. Fundraiser for Accueil Kateri Centre food bank.
