Annual Sale Raises Funds for Local Family
Above: The Ste. Anne Lions are all smiles as they take time out for a photo opportunity with some of the community who benefited from the event. Left: Santa takes time out to have pictures taken with kids who definitely made the “nice list” at the annual holiday season craft sale.
The Ste. Anne Lions Club held their second annual craft and bake sale to raise funds for a local family fighting cancer and for the Knights of Columbus Christmas hamper drive. This year was great! There was a photo booth set up and Santa came down to take photos with families. The proceeds from pictures, the bake sale and lunch went to the local family. All together $419 was raised. There was also a 50/50 and a silent auction and a food drive to raise funds to help many families this year with Christmas hampers they raised $445. “I’m surprised that there is such a great mix of vendors who fit into this little hall. With handmade chocolate, clocks, Christmas cards, personalized gifts and so much more it is such a cozy sale. I found the perfect gifts,” said Susanne an attendee. The Ste. Anne Lions Club would like to thank all the sponsors and everyone who came out to support the event. They will be hosting another sale next November.
