Colouring Draw Winner! The winner of the annual In Seine Christmas Colouring Draw is Tony Roy. His name was picked in a live draw that was published on the In Seine Facebook page. Lions Club to Host First Paint Night After months of preparation the Ste. Anne Lions Club is ready to host their very first paint night in Ste. Anne. The evening will be instructed by local Artist and Lions Club member Rick McPherson. McPherson has some 40 plus years of experience in a wide range of art including painting, award winning snow art and sculptures, wood craftsmanship, face painting, balloon twisting and more. He is now ready to share his love for the arts and teach you how to make

your own masterpiece. The event will be held at the Ste. Anne Hotel on Tuesday, January 17 at 6:30 pm. It will be a family friendly atmosphere until 9 pm (which means all ages can participate). The Ste. Anne Lions and the seniors from the Villa Youville recently toured the town in a bus to enjoy the Christmas lights and choose the winners of the annual Christmas Light decorating contest sponsored by the Lions Club and Town of Ste. Anne. “Are there ever a lot of houses decorated for Christmas here in town. It made the judging last night very difficult but the seniors on the bus tour came through once again and picked the winners of the 2016 Christmas Lights Contest!” said Lion Chris Berard. Honourable Mention went to the Town of Ste. Anne for the beautiful displays all along Main Street and in the trees at the entrance to town.

On December 28 starting a little after 5 pm, traffic was backed up in the southbound lanes on the #12 due to a car on fire just before the Ste. Anne turn off. Ste. Anne Police and Ste. Anne Fire Fighters responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
