Q: WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES WILL I TAKE PART IN AT THE MILL? A: Whilst maintaining your own lifestyle in a self-contained flat, you will be expected to engage in the activities on offer at The Mill. These include: • One-to-one counselling and advice sessions • Access to education, employment and training opportunities • Group work and leisure activities with peers
Q: HOW LONG CAN I STAY AT THE MILL? A: Young people generally stay at The Mill for six to 12 months. When you are ready to move on we can help you secure long-term accommodation. We also offer resettlement and transitional support for 12 weeks after leaving the project.
Q: HOW DO I APPLY FOR A PLACE AT THE MILL? A: If you are interested in a place at The Mill, you can contact us in person or by telephone. You will be asked to fill out an application form and visit the project prior to entry.

WE PROVIDE SUPPORTED RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE FROM THE SOUTH RIBBLE AREA WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS
Q: WHAT IS THE MILL? A: The Mill provides supported accommodation for up to six young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This could be due to a number of reasons including family breakdown, loss of tenancy or leaving care.
Q: HOW CAN THE MILL HELP ME? A: If you are between the ages of 16 and 25 and are homeless or at risk of homelessness, we can help you gain the skills, knowledge and confidence necessary for independent living. You will have the opportunity to develop practical skills in areas such as budgeting whilst benefiting from our ongoing emotional support. If appropriate, we can also help you rebuild links with your family.

A: You will be assigned your own key worker who will provide advice and counselling and help you review your life in a safe and supportive environment. We provide onsite support 24 hours a day.
