SCULPTURE GALLERY
This assignment focuses on a mixed-use artist studio and gallery located in the city of Marietta. We are challenged to design a new facility that creates an intentional relationship between the studio and gallery and its adjacent public space while taking a position on and creatively engaging the roles of public and private realms within and around the site.

Exhibited in gallery final form model builds further and defines the intersecting volumes
Each iteration establishes new key design factors.
The first establishes the language of the intersecting “el” shapes - carved out to distinguish an entrance into the site.
The second pulls them apart to create skylights.
Starting form - Site Demensions
Carved spaces creating access to site through circulation paths - while also creating outdoor gallery spaces
Collision with second volume to create the main indoor gallery
Third volume as an extension to the second geometry, and creating large skylights
Slight rotation as a subtle ackowledgement of the Marietta square directly across the street
