PREFACE
The ARMSS logo expresses the character and nature of institution through its emblem, color palette and typography. This brand book identity program will help ARMSS to build a unique, effective, and respected image in the Philippine. It defines standard for the correct use of the company logo, which is means of maintaining professional consistency of all corporate communications. This brand book has been designed to reflect the qualities, functions and services of the institution. As ARMSS continues to strengthen its identity awareness, consistent application of the identity is crucial in maintaining the approriate image.

HOW TO USE THESE GUIDELINES
This is a comprehensive set of design guidelines with the purpose of providing information in order to create and implement the visual represenatation of the organization across its various communication platforms. The guidelines cover two main areas: • The first part deals with the core elements of the identity including the logo, color palete and typography. It includes some examples of how NOT to use the logo. •
The second part takes these elements and shows you how to apply theme to a wide range of applications ranging from stationery to other printed collateral.

THE CORPORATE IDENTITY 1.0 THE LOGO The logo was technically constructed to provide a strong and effective brand. Colors were carefully chosen to provide a fresh and modern look and feel.

4.0 LOGO MINIMUM SIZE
To maintain the logo’s integrity, and to make sure that the logo stands out, an empty exclusion space should always surround the logo.
It is critical not to reduce the logo’s size to smaller dimensions than the ones mentioned in this guide. Resizing the logo to a smaller size than that set by the guidelines may risk the clarity of the emblem and the readability of the typeface.
A space equivalent to a larger than the exclusions space shown in this guide should be available whenever the logo is used in any application.

THE CORPORATE IDENTITY 5.0 LOGO VARIATIONS 4.1 FULL COLOR POSITIVE VERSION This primary version should be used whenever possible, against a white background.

4.2 SINGLE COLOR POSITIVE VERSION ( BLACK ) When there is no option for the logo to be printed in full color, it can be printed in its black color version.
4.3 SINGLE COLOR POSITIVE VERSION ( WHITE) Only when nescessary. The logo is printed in reverse white. ( For more details, see 6.0 Backgrounds )
6.0 LOGO MISUSE Misuse of the logo can easily occur. The logo must maintain its original shape and proportion as shown in Section 1.0 of this manual. Seen here are the number of examples of logo misuse.

THE CORPORATE IDENTITY 7.0 BACKGROUNDS The logo can be placed on solid color backgrounds, such as its own corporate colors or their derivatives. When the logo is applied over a light background, all of the logo elements must have sufficient contrast with the background to clearly visible.

Though it is not advisable to place the logo on dark backgrounds, but if the need arises, the logo can be used in its negative version ( solid white ).
8.0 COLOR PALLETE 7.1 PRIMARY COLOR PALLETE This pallete reflects the brand identity of the company which composes the company logo.
7.2 SECONDARY COLOR PALLETE Use this pallete when additional colors are required for application such brochures and others collaterals, or for color coding. Tints of these colors may also be used to provide a wider range of choices.

While no guidelines can cover every possible contingency, this will provide the framework on which to build a living identity which should be able to evolve over time. The gudelines indicate in this corporate manual should be flexible enough to allow creative expression to shine through. Therefore, they should be treated as firm foundation on which to build creative excellence, rather than beign restrictive.
