CCC is committed to —right down to the paint our students use in the auto body and collision repair programs. In fact, is the only educational facility on the East Coast to have access to PPG Envirobase® High Performance waterborne coatings system PPG Industries provided the necessary equipment, supplies, and training free of charge. The first test of the new equipment was unveiled in the presence of more than 80 local auto body repair .

The Envirobase® High Performance system is currently used in , California, and Canada where air regulations mandate lower volatile organic compounds (VOC) in refinish basecoats. It is also being used by collision and automobile dealer centers throughout North America.
