The difference between the library and the kindergarten part is the division into closed and open stairs. The part closed by the roof is part of the kindergarten. In contrast, the open staircase is the part that surrounds the library.

The designed finał building focuses primarily on isolating the space that would fulfill many functions at the same time. The main idea is to create external stairs, which would be a link in the form of a bridge over the street between two parts of the entire building. lt would combine part of the library with part of the kindergarten to form one whole.

The aesthetic aspect is revealed by looking at the facades. In contrast to the materiał used in the design of the kindergarten and library building, which is brick, in the facade of the stairs mainly concrete was used. The only difference emerging at first glance is the division into closed and open stairs. The part closed by the roof is part of the kindergarten, in which the roof slope is used as a slide for children. In contrast, the open staircase is the part that surrounds the library. The concept of the building itself is uncomplicated. lt is intended primarily to fulfill practical functions. The main idea is to raise the part of the building at the lowest point site (kindergarten) by 1.5 m from ground level. This is aimed at protecting the building against flooding during the\mons. o· on season and ventilate the building underneath during the / · heaf.

The stairs surrounding the building became the leitmotiv of the whole project. The external part that surrounds the building from all sides is designed to resemble a network, thanks to users have constant access to rooms from various places. In addition to the pure communication function ( movement between building modules ) the designed stairs have a different function as well, an aesthetic and practical. Looking at the practical aspect, the steps in some parts are the adaptation of seats, which can be used as an additional space for rest or relaxation. To ensure the comfort of use, the dimensions of the steps are inspired by those used in small amphitheaters measuring 90 cm wide by 45 cm high.

Throughout the northern fac;ade, perforated brick walls are used to achieve greater cross ventilation. Also, the shadow cast through the holes in the wali creates a unique atmosphere of the interior.

Due to the surrounding buildings on the west sicie, the facade is kept simplified. Brick and concrete walls were used. To provide better cross-ventilotion, small holes in the middle of the building were added.
