THE IDEA OF THE PROJECT

THE CONCEPT OF THE NEW ARTS ACADEMY PROJECT IS AN ADDITION TO ALREADY EXISTING CONSTRUCTION TRAINING CENTER OF EXCELLENCE. THE NEW TEACHING BUILDING WOULD ENSURE BETTER STANDARDS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO JUST START GETTING KNOWLEDGE IN ART AND FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO DEVELOPE IT FURTHER ON. THE BUILDING WOULD ENABLE THE EXTENSION OF THE OFFER WITH ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES DEDICATED TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY FINISHED EDUCATION. The designed building will fulfill the basie didactic, scientific, exhibition, and recreational functions. The facility is supposed to take into account all conditions such as communication connections, the shape of the site, the way of referring to the architecture of the Leicester city center, giving a modern character to the surroundings, but in harmony with the natura I character of the site. In the designed building, the most important space is to be a representative entrance zone, and at the same time a place of exhibition, recreation and education. All kinds of cultural events can be organized there as well as to conduct classes in the open space.
