Briefing on academy uniform An academy uniform would improve behaviour in the academy. Firstly, it would greatly reduce bullying based on clothes and fashions. Secondly, it would provide the academy with a clear sense of discipline and authority. Academy uniforms would also improve results. This is because uniforms would promote a sense of pride in the academy and in the work the students produce whilst they are there. In addition to this, uniforms would help poorer students to avoid victimisation on account of their wealth, as reflected in their clothes.
