Exam Technique – Reminder
Question 1 – Knowledge of Events (4) Ensure you have revised the events covered carefully. A four mark question requires at least two statements with description. Question 2 – Source Analysis Explain the PURPOSE and NATURE of the source – Who did it? Can we trust it? What is it saying? Explain whether YOU agree with the source – Give other reasons for the event other than the one given in the cartoon. Question 3 – Comparison Question Ensure you have revised the events covered carefully. You will need to write about BOTH events. Some people believe that (statement 1) was most important because….. Some people believe that (statement 2) was most important because…. Overall, I believe that (statement 1 or 2) was most important because……You may also include reasons other than the two mentioned. Do this briefly and to the point in your summary.
