Central Integrated Regional Cancer Service (CIRCS) is facilitating a one day seminar for Oral Health Therapists, Dental Hygienists, Allied Health and Nurses with a focus on head and neck cancer treatments. Seminar objectives include:

QLD Health Staff: Free External to QLD Health: $220 pp

Overview of the delivery of radiotherapy and chemotherapy Describe the concept of bisphosphonate therapy and oral health Explain the impact of cytotoxic agents in oral health and identify the key concepts related to cytotoxic safety in oral health Identify strategies for managing and enabling behavioural change of patients for optimal oral health care Understand the benefits of Allied Health intervention
