The most flexible machine for horizontal continuous cycle packaging of products having different sizes and variable placement. Available in 2 versions: BB (coil from the bottom) and BA (coil from the top).

Working parameters management

The unit is suitable for horizontal packaging of solid products in heat-sealable film, and especially for packaging in airtight ATM and for items with irregular size.

Full control of machine speed, transverse and longitudinal sealing temperature, package length, infeed pitch, outlet conveyor speed. Machine is also equipped with “no product no bag” control, product anti-collision parameter, accident preventing guards in high-transparent polycarbonate controlled by safety micro switch.

Coil flexibility Cantilever reel holder for coil width up to 600mm and diameter up to 350mm, located underneath or above the loading conveyor, complete with radial expansion shaft, automatic film unwinding system and progressive automatic brake, allowing a smooth film unwinding and keeping the side centering constant. Adjustable stainless steel forming device and end of film report system are also available.

Control and automation All machine functions are managed via touch screen PLC and OMRON NJ axes control. The NJ axes control includes an Intel Atom processor. NJ-series controller OMRON offers remote assistance option ad ensures compatibility with most popular supervision systems.

The electrical control panel is integrated in the machine frame.

The unit is also equipped with an air cooling group for on longitudinal welding, a products outlet conveyor (800 mm long) controlled by brushless motor and a print centering photocell.

Sealing features

Loading system

Drive group and TSP (Thermo Sealing Plate) driven by brushless motor, equipped with 4 pairs of sealing wheels and film drive 110mm diameter, automatic pneumatic system for wheels opening and inclination micrometrical adjustment. The group is adjustable in height.

Transverse sealer group “Box Motion” with pneumatic or motorized brushless lockup. Translation movement provided by brushless motor and precision timing belt.

Cutting knife integrated in the sealers with pneumatic control. Transverse sealers’ temperature control by means of reinforced heating elements and high precision probe.

The standard flow pack machine mod. synchrobox is provided with the Manual feeding System. Automatic solutions can be developed according to the customer needs

Optional upon request APA (Automatic Pitch Adjustment) to keep the loading conveyor in phase withthe cutting device by means of 2 photoelectric barrier sensors continuously detecting position and size of the package. The cutting pitch and the distance between the products, either manually or automatically loaded, is managed by PLC. This advanced system allows continuous loading and packing products of different sizes and randomly placed on the loading conveyor. Fixed pitch working recipes are also available.
