“Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering-I was in prison and you came to visit Me.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

We enter into Your gates with thanksgiving, and Your courts with praise! We give You thanks, for You are good, Your love endures forever. We thank You Lord, with all of our heart; We will tell of all Your wonderful deeds. Lord, we pray for those incarcerated, we thank You that You are the great comforter. We ask that You send supernatural comfort and strength to them right now. We know there is violence within the walls of many prisons, but we pray for supernatural protection all around them. We send angels to protect them right now. Father, I pray for a revival in the correctional facility where they are and we ask that the love of Jesus would permeate the atmosphere, break bondage and set them free. Send laborers to bring Your spirit and truth, and let the Word of God become real to them like never before. And to give them life and set them free. We cast all their cares on You and rest in the assurance that You are working in response to our prayers concerning those incarcerated right now, In Jesus Name, Amen.

ADOPT A SOUL INSPIRATIONAL WRITER MARSHA

The Blessing of Mentorship I once heard my mother say when God calls you to serve Him, you better go and not play with Him. I wondered at that time, how would I know if I was called. Having received that call years later, I now know that God touches your heart and spirit. There is no room for doubt because He will impress upon your heart what to do. You will know it is God appointed. Each step in my service to God has lead to a new door of opportunity. Three years ago that door opened to mentorship. It has been a blessing to pour the Word of God into the hearts of God’s souls. It says in Matthew 28:19 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. To me that is what mentorship is. All should be taught. It says in John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but His that sent me. (KJV) It is very important that people hear God’s doctrine, not man’s. It is a blessing to walk this journey and share His Word with others. It says in Hebrews 13:3 Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. (KJV) Everyone should have that opportunity to know our one true God, who manifested Himself as a man, coming down here to be the ultimate sacrifice for each of us. For God to be who He is; all power, and sovereign, to entrust me with His souls, leaves me awestruck. I am determined to give Him the best part of me as I journey on this battlefield of life and that includes Mentorship. Evangelist Marsha
