El neg ro detrás de la oreja es una frase popular dominicana. fue útilizada por primera vez en el 1883 por el peota llamado Juan Antonio Alix
Este poema es una critica a la mentalidad dominicana, que tiende a neg ar sus raices, mostrando señales de prejuicios raciales. Los dominicanos orgullozamente prioriza sus antecedente “blancos” y nieg a sus raices africanas y el tono neg ro que bar niza su piel.
Esta frase es un recordatorio a todo dominicano que no importa como se ven todo venimos de la misma mezcla.

a
criticism
about
the
Dominican
mentality o reg arding their roots, showing signs of racial prejudice. Dominicans proudly prioritizes their “white” roots and reject their Afri can roots and the black tone that var nishes your skin.
T his phrase is a reminder to all the dominicans that it doesn’t matter how they look like, we’re all coming from the same mix.
