Summer work

 Struggled to get anything in terms of client work  Concentrated on building up a body of work for

Thought bubble

 Kept visiting places, finding new illustrators  Tried new things to gain new experiences

Recent work  Trying to approach work as confidently as possible

now, allowing myself a varied amount of jobs

 Making sure to keep my narrative work at the

forefront

 Volunteering my self for as many opportunities as

possible

 Light Night I had my work projected on the wall as a

centre piece and gained a new contact

 Success on the Guardian brief, first paid work  Engineer project underway  Attempting to get some form of recognition by the

end of the year

Social Media & Presentation ď‚— In terms of my social networking I have all

facilities to hand but seemingly not the time to keep them all up to date

ď‚— The interest in them is also appallingly low

in view figures

ď‚— I want to also have redesigned my business

card in time for Thought bubble

Approaching Potential clients  Considering looking for new markets  Sending off and sharing ideas with artists

who’s work I’m interested in

 Sending free concepts to industries I’d be

happy to work for

The Future Ahead  I plan to use this final year to build up as many

connections as I possibly can

 Find out and list where some of the best places are

for stock, printing, work etc. from people who are experienced in those fields

 Develop and balance out my use of different

mediums, continue to experiment with new ones

 Be prepared to start work immediately after

graduating whether that be client based work or go back into retail to keep me going

 Buy the materials and equipment needed for me to

continue working
