THE FUTURE OF LUXURY
THE UPCOMING 2024 ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE’S DEBUT will signal the brand’s arrival to the awaiting throne of Luxury EVs. The massive, 18-foot long, 6,500-lb fastback will bow to no peer as the first ever ultra-luxury electric super coupe. Though a spiritual successor to the popular Phantom coupe, its implementation of advanced technology represents the first in a multi-year plan to solely offer EVs across the model range by 2030.
The Spectre represents far more than the decade-worth of development that took place since the unveiling of the all-electric 102EX concept in 2012. Rolls-Royce’s founders originally dreamt of the ultimate luxury vehicle— providing no noise, aromas, or vibrations—116 years ago. The dual electric motors will whisk away passengers in silence, while the electronically assisted chassis will improve upon the already transcendent ride quality RollsRoyce is known for, providing a veritable magic carpet experience.
The exterior features a massive, backlit grill flanked by thin, split headlights. The imposing hood covers not an engine, but all the hard and software required to operate the adjustable shocks and roll bars, which react to real time road conditions. The weight of the twin batteries mounted underneath the floor offer a lower center-of-gravity as well as extra sound deadening mass. Their 577 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque will propel the Spectre to 60mph in an estimated 4.4 seconds, and afford a range of 260 miles.
New among the many bespoke options available for owners are 4,796 illuminated pinprick stars spread across the door panels, matching the beloved Starlight headliner.
Order books are now open for the 2024 Spectre, with the first deliveries targeted for late next year. Contact your sales advisor today, or visit BramanRolls-RoycePalmBeach.com.
