What are the latest developments/ innovations in your field? The trend in all surgery is noninvasive procedures. Plastic surgery is no exception. There have been significant advances in minimally invasive techniques for both facelift and body contouring. We are now using sound and light technology for body contouring. Fillers and implants also are rapidly growing sciences. These technologies are constantly improving as well with new products coming to market almost weekly. What differentiates your practice from other specialists in the field? Our practice is a boutique practice, and I consider my role to be as much advisor as it is surgeon. I take the time to study and research emerging technologies. I only select those that are going to offer reproducible, longlasting results for my patients. What do you do for fun? I have three children, ages 7 years, 5 years and 14 months. When I am not working, I am spending time with them. I also enjoy flats fishing in the Everglades.
