Eat, drink, be merry
In the world of monthly magazines, the holiday season means crunch time. With so many folks traveling out of town to visit loved ones, it’s that much harder to schedule interviews and photo shoots for the next couple of issues and also get December to the printer on time. It’s a joyous time, yes, but for editors it’s also one of the most stressful times of the year.
That said, it’s Christmastime, y’all! And who can be bummed about that? Deadlines aside, it means time spent with family, a spirit of giving in the air, and weeknights curled up on the sofa watching my favorite holiday spe cials (animated classics like Frosty the Snowman, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer). There’s a certain nostalgia in these silly movies that sim ply can’t be beat. Anyone remember Mr. Heat Miser from The Year Without a Santa Claus? For some reason, that little dude’s catchy song has always stuck with me!
More than anything, the holiday season is about love. And truly, the ultimate gift you can give—or get—is to be loved and to share love. But let’s face it, it’s also about food....
For many of us, gathering around the table for a meal is a way of connecting with loved ones, especially on special occasions and holidays. No one feels this more than chefs, who find the utmost joy in feeding people. For our December issue, we decided to gather a few of the area’s top chefs for a pre-holiday potluck so they could showcase some of their favorite tradi tional Christmas creations—and enjoy a little taste of one another’s talents. I’d like to thank Chef Paolo Ferretti (Chef’s Table), Chef Taylor Wilson (The Gafford and the forthcoming Palm City Social), and Chef Jason Stocks (District Table & Bar and Colab Kitchen) for taking time out of their incredibly busy sched ules to participate in our vision. And much appreciation to mixologist George Olsen (Libations Mobile Catering Company) for slinging the tasty cocktails, the lovely Heather McAdams and Missy Moxley for cohosting the shindig and providing such breathtaking holiday decor, and Carra Crehan (general manager of Chef’s Table) for helping us put this together. Turn to page 30 to read about their night in “A Jolly Good Time.”
On another note, if you’re still looking for the perfect gift for someone on your list, we’ve got some great local ideas in “That’s a Wrap!” (page 38).
Happy holidays, peace, and blessings to you!
Lee Ribeiro michelle@stuartmagazine.com @mleerib’Tis the season!
December is one of my favorite months of the year. Holiday par ties are in full swing, family comes to town to visit (or sometimes we travel to see them), and we get to ring in a new year, which is always fun. For me, 2022 seemed to fly by even more so than previous years as I spent my days seeing clients and talking with readers. I enjoyed every minute of it, but I do look forward to having some downtime dur ing the holidays and celebrating the onset of 2023 with friends. It’s my time to catch up on rest and also get a bit organized before the crazy rush of events coming in January.
To start, I am especially eager to sit down and read this issue of Stuart Magazine. Our editorial team has been working diligently to bring you lots of interesting local content, as always, and I can’t wait to flip through these pages! I hope you enjoy the December issue and discover more about what makes our tri-county area so special.

Before you hire a divorce lawyer for a complex case you should ask:
• How many cases involving over one billion dollars have you taken to trial and what are the names of those cases?
• How many cases involving over one hundred million dollars have you taken to trial and what are the names of those cases?
• How many cases have you taken to trial that lasted longer than ten trial days and what are the names of those cases?
• How many cases have you taken to trial where there was litigation simultaneously in Florida and also in multiple other states and foreign countries?
The lawyers at Fisher Potter Hodas are ready to answer all of these questions.

Ink About It
You’ve probably seen the work of Port St. Lucie artist Katie Gianni around town. Her colorful depictions of wildlife, intricately designed using ink and acrylics, are hard to miss. The unique images of birds, insects, sea life, and blue-footed boobies—what she has become best known for—have been shown locally at places like The Gilt Complex, The Creek District Art Walk events, and Colab Kitchen. “I’ve always loved painting, but I’m not traditional in style,” says 32-year-old Gianni, who developed a passion for ink and printing while studying lithography and wood block at Stockton University

A remodeled camper-turned-boutique is selling style on the Treasure Coast
by TRACY MARCELLOAnyone who has recently visited downtown Stuart’s Market on Main has probably noticed Joliee, a mobile boutique housed within a remodeled vintage camper. It’s run by owner Anngelik Aponte, a Puerto Rican native who has called the Treasure Coast home since 2019. Joliee started as an online boutique in 2015, and now Aponte stocks her camper-boutique with one-of-a-kind, local pieces. Here, she chats about her mobile biz—and what’s trending now. myjoliee.com
Where did you get the idea for a mobile shop?
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico until I was 8. My mother used to tell me that in Puerto Rico, mobile boutiques would bring clothing to houses and display it, and people would also sell goods out of their trucks or Sprinter vans. That idea sat in the back of my mind for a long time.
What went into the camper remodeling process?
The trailer was in really good condition when I bought it. It just had to be gutted and given some love, but it was all cosmetic work. “Isabella” [Aponte’s nickname for the camper] was in storage for a couple of months, then my dad and husband began to work on her at night and on the weekends. I had to change my design like 20 times—and I pretty much drove them crazy—but it was a blessing to see that we were making a dream reality.
How would you describe the aesthetic of Joliee?
My vibe is very boho-chic and boho-modern, with a lot of lace and feminine pieces. When you take one “e” away, Joliee means “pretty” in French. I just want women to feel beautiful in what they’re wearing. The local designers I work with do exclusive collections for the Joliee boutique, so they are only found inside the mobile boutique, not online or anywhere else.
What can shoppers expect from the mobile boutique experience?
I want it to feel cozy, like a little home. You’ll find women’s clothing, shoes, hats, jewelry, you name it. I work with a lot of local designers

because I believe in supporting small businesses. We carry Agape T-shirts, Civetta LA accessories, Little Castle Co. scrunchies and headbands, Jonnrinnah Workshop polymer clay earrings, and more.
What’s trending right now going into the new year? A lot of ’70s and ’80s trends are coming back: oversize blazers with fitted tops and biker shorts or asymmetrical skirts, rompers and jumpsuits, velvet in rich colors, and high-waisted trousers with sneakers... There’s a real street-style trend happening. It’s pretty cool.

All-Stars
by EMILY PANTELIDESAs 2022 comes to a close, I decided to go through everything I’ve chosen for this column over these past few months and pick out the best of the best—my “all-star” products of the year.
I’ll start with Aroma 360, a home diffuser that comes in the dreamiest scents. This Miami-based brand really knows how to transform a home into a warm, soothing oasis. My favorite scent is Chandelier, a delicate blend reminiscent of an amber floral and woody breeze. Another aromatic product I love for the home is Pura Vida’s line of candles. The South Florida restaurant is an obsession of mine for both its food and its aesthetic. And with the delicious-smelling Paradise candle you can recreate that airy vibe at home.
Kim Kardashian’s SKKN by Kim skin care line lives up to the hype. It comes gorgeously packaged and has made my skin absolutely glow. If you want a holy grail body oil, Mirigal’s high-voltage oil is the one. Celebrity makeup artist Miriam Azoulay created the line, which is organic and made in small batches.
If you’ve switched to plant-based milk like so many of us have, this handy gadget from Almond Cow is a must. With the flick of a switch, you can make your own simple, pure milk at home.
I have the perfect gift to treat yourself to this holiday season: You can never go wrong with Louis Vuitton, and I love this new monogram scarf from the iconic fashion house.
Finally, get ready to charge into those New Year’s resolutions with a fitness tracker from Whoop. It’s like having a personalized coach on your arm that is equally stylish.
Happy holidays! xo, Emily

CELEBRITY PUBLICIST JO MIGNANO LEFT NEW YORK TO START A NEW LIFE IN PALM CITY, BRINGING HER A-LIST CLIENT ROSTER WITH HER
by LINDA MARXGrowing up in Brooklyn, New York, Joann “Jo”
Mignano loved watching celebrity entertainment shows on television. She never missed the red carpet extravaganzas and was mesmerized by the Barbara Walters specials featuring high-profile guests. “I wondered how Barbara got those guests,” remembers Mignano, now 44. Fascinated by these TV moments, she developed an intrigue of the inner workings of New York and Hollywood entertainment.
Today, Mignano represents some of Hollywood’s biggest stars as the founder of J Migs Public Relations. Operating from her home in Palm City (she moved from New York to South Florida in 2014), she represents recognizable names like
’N Sync star Joey Fatone, world heavyweight boxing champion and entertainer Mike Tyson, singer Taylor Dayne, vocal group Boyz II Men, and reality TV stars Vinny Guadagnino and Sammi “Sweet heart” Giancola (of Jersey Shore fame), among others. “Working for myself in the Sunshine State has been a wonderful journey so far,” she says of the past eight years spent living here.
Mignano studied public relations and advertising at St. Francis College in Brooklyn but dropped out after two years to gain experience in entertainment public relations while supporting herself in retail. In 2000, she began work at Momentum Worldwide, part of the parent organization McCann Worldgroup. While continuing to take
college courses at night in pursuit of a degree in communications, she worked for Momentum’s corporate clients like American Express and Best Buy, as well as others. “I did event marketing for Sheryl Crow and Sting concerts,” she says. “I loved it, and when I was promoted, I quit school completely to pursue my career.”
Through hard work and forming important connections in the heady world of entertainment publicity, Mignano landed a job at PMK/HBH, one of the top PR firms in the country at the time led by powerhouse publicists Leslee Dart, Lois Smith, and Pat Kingsley (whom, coincidentally, Mignano wrote a paper about during her early years in college). This role allowed her to gain crucial experience as she worked alongside the agency’s top publicists, like Jill Fritzo, with the top-tier celebrity talent PMK handled including Rosie O’Donnell, Billy Crystal, and Sharon Stone. “I learned so much from Jill about how to protect my clients and get them enviable magazine covers and international exposure,” says Mignano.
She rose to senior account executive, managing and expanding the firm’s sports division with clients like Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, and NFL linebacker Shawne Merriman, and she developed publicity campaigns for Rosie O’Donnell and Australian singer Delta Goodrem. “I had to be on my toes 100 percent, attending
premieres, talk shows, and red carpets,” she says. “I had a great relationship with Rosie [O’Donnell] and met many people. But I would often work 12 days straight. It took a lot out of me.”
She left PMK to become vice president of entertainment and lifestyle at FYI Brand Group, where she developed publicity campaigns for Mike Tyson, singer Jason Derulo, rapper Fabulous, producer Sean Garrett, and the late actor Michael Kenneth Williams. Then came a six-year stint leading the entertainment division at Krupp Communications before she launched her own agency, J Migs, in 2017, bringing many of her existing clients—like Tyson—aboard.
“Jo prides herself on her business being personal,” says Mike Tyson’s wife, Kiki. “We have worked with her for 15 years through ups and downs, and she has always shown the same passion, compassion, and dedication to Mike and his family. We are grateful to still have her on our team.” Joe Mulvihill of Livewire Entertainment, who manages clients Joey Fatone and Boyz II Men, shares a similar sentiment: “Jo is more than a publicist. She is family!”
Mignano’s career highlights include witnessing Tyson perform in his 2012 one-man show Undisputed Truth on Broadway and then becoming a best-selling author, assisting Boyz II Men as they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and help ing rocker Bret Michaels [of the band Poison] add entrepreneur and motivational figure to his résumé.
Having visited Florida many times throughout her life (“I’ve always loved Florida,” she says), Mignano finally decided to make the move south in 2014. Leaving the Big Apple for Palm
City hasn’t slowed her business at all. She is the same hardwork ing publicist who loves her career and dotes on her clients. “I can work from an igloo in Alaska,” she says. “All I need is a phone and a computer. I’m like an actor on call—it’s not a nine-to-five job. I actually care about my clients.”
When not working, Mignano enjoys spending time with her son, 10-year-old Billy, doing things in the area like swimming at the beach, dining around the Treasure Coast (favorite spots include Townie’s Tavern, Hudson’s on the River, District Table & Bar, and 1000 North), going on staycations in Hutchinson Island, and visiting Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Orlando Resort. “I have an amazing career and a wonderful son,” she says. “I love what I do and do what I love.” ❖
Built to PERFECTION
by GEORGE LABONTEPalm City resident Joe Paskoski Sr. has a lifelong history of South Florida boating experience ranging from building airboats for hunting to buying and overhauling a wide range of fishing boats. According to his son Joe Jr. (whose Egret was featured in this magazine about a year ago), his dad has always been a hands-on guy with the ability to fix, build, and rig anything that floats or runs. Subsequently, the pair have always enjoyed boating together on Joe Sr.’s latest completed project boat.
When he retired from the lumber business a few years ago (he owned Florida Cypress & Fence for more than 30 years), Paskoski decided it was time to treat himself to something special. His last boat would also be the very first boat he would purchase brand new from a custom builder—and it made perfect sense that
he’d land on Ben Sheaffer’s doorstep. Sheaffer, owner of Sheaffer Marine of Tampa, is also a hands-on guy and, like Paskoski, he is a perfectionist from the school of thought that suggests “anything worth doing is worth overdoing.” The combination of Sheaffer’s design ability and work ethic, paired with what would prove to be the perfect hull style for Paskoski’s boating require ments, resulted in a purchase order for a custom Sheaffer S-240V.
The S-240V is available in a number of configurations, and for Paskoski’s style of fishing, a ¾-tower full molded hard top with second station controls was just the right fit.

with dry storage and a large, insulated fish box below deck. A 70-gallon live well is incorporated into the lower helm seating.
For electronics, Paskoski opted for a pair of Simrad NSS evo3S units—a 12-inch display below and a smaller slave unit in the tower. To assist with navigation on the St. Lucie River before first light, a Sionyx Nightwave night vision camera was integrated into the Simrad display. For quietly stalking fish on the beach or fishing around bridges and docks, a Minn Kota Ulterra 36V trolling motor was bow mounted. And for power, she features a Yamaha F300 mounted on a Porta Bracket jack plate.

THE EQUESTRIAN HOTEL AT OCALA’S WORLD EQUESTRIAN CENTER PUTS YOU IN THE HEART OF THE HORSE-CIRCUIT ACTION
by DAPHNE NIKOLOPOULOSIf you’re a horse-show enthusiast or on the sup port team of a competitive equestrian, you may be used to long hours on hard bleachers or grass, lackluster food, and facilities that might not be best described as “glamorous.” The World Equestrian Center (worldequestriancenter.com) and its show piece, The Equestrian Hotel (equestrianhotel.com), are here to change all that.
Located at the west end of Ocala amid horse farms and sprawling golf communities, the 380-acre com plex rivals—and in many cases exceeds—Wellington International (where the Winter Equestrian Festival is held) as the epicenter of equestrian competition. With multiple indoor and outdoor arenas, the WEC is equipped for grand-scale competitions on the pro and collegiate levels. Almost every dis cipline, from dressage and hunter/jumper to Western pleasure and reining, has a home here, and an expansive polo facility is currently under construction. Beyond equestrian, there are fa cilities for sporting events like volleyball, cheerleading, and even a national-level dog show.
In the middle of it all—literally—is The Equestrian Hotel. It’s logical to assume that The Equestrian accommodates compet itors and their entourages, but that’s only part of the picture.
Nearly half of the guests of the 248-room hotel are either horse lovers who enjoy the energy and spectacle of the sport or travel ers looking for a luxury vacation with an unusual spin.
Lounging in an elegant suite while watching a dressage com petition beyond a picture window is definitely not your everyday hotel fare. The Equestrian puts you in the heart of the action without sacrificing the comforts and style of a high-end hotel. Marble bathrooms, haberdashery-inspired fabrics, and elevated classic design are all accommodation hallmarks, but it’s the bird’s-eye view of the sporting events—like your own private box!—that sets the rooms apart.
The public places are opulent but restrained. The lobby blends demure elements such as panel molding and mahogany millwork with glitzy touches like Swarovski crystal chande liers and unapologetic strokes of gold. Natu rally, equine references—from horse-head lamps to stirrup drawer pulls—are everywhere. The showstopper here is undoubtedly the floor-toceiling fireplace, but don’t miss the dog paintings that decorate practically every square inch of wall space on the ground level. It has to be one of the biggest collections of dog art anywhere.
On the dining front, the big story is Stirrups (stirrupsocala.com), as much for its fine-dining menu as its terrace overlooking the Grand Arena. Dine on prime steaks or Southern fare like summer corn hushpup pies and black-eyed pea salad while watching equestrian events just steps from your table. If you can snag a seat at the Yellow Pony (yellowponyocala.com), jump at the chance. This buzzing gastro pub is all about its bourbons and whiskeys, but its Tatanka Blue bison burger is the stuff of leg ends. Order it with a side of garlic Parmesan fries and atone later.
It’s easy to make a weekend of exploring the hotel and show grounds, but the surrounding area is compelling in its own right. Ocala is an outdoor enthusi ast’s playground, with such attractions as Ocala National Forest (fs.usda.gov) and some of the state’s most beautiful springs. Closest to the WEC, Rainbow Springs (visitrainbowsprings.com) is a popular spot for tubing and swimming (that water!). A bit farther but worth the drive, Juniper Springs (fs.usda.gov)
offers family-friendly, prolific snorkeling in crystal-clear water. For adrenaline seekers, The Canyons (zipthecanyons.com) is a scenic and challenging spot for zip-lining (including a full moon adventure). Opt for the Big Cliff Canyon tour and fly over lakes, treetops, and canyons—one of many bucket-list experiences that can be checked off during a stay-and-play at The Equestrian. ❖

Some of Martin County’s top chefs gather in Palm City for a festive holiday potluck
by LINDA MARX | photography by JERRY RABINOWITZFrom special meals with family and friends to creative stockings filled with delicious treats, food takes center stage during the holidays for many of us. Whether you’re gathering around the table with the entire extended family for a feast on Christmas Eve or noshing on cookies and eggnog on Christmas morning, it’s all about fine food served amid enchanting holiday decor.
If you think you pull out all the stops for holiday meals, just imagine what it’s like at the home of a talented chef! Fortunately, we got a taste of the good life when we invited three local chefs to gather for a pre-holiday celebratory potluck Christmas dinner. Chef Taylor Wilson of The Gafford (and the upcoming Palm City Social), Chef Jason Stocks of District Table & Bar and Colab Kitchen, and Chef Paolo Ferretti of Chef’s Table each prepared some of their favorite holiday dishes to share with one another and a few special guests. Supplying the liquid fun, mixologist George Olsen of Libations Mobile Cater ing Company created unique holiday drinks to mix and match with the food and mood.
To host the dinner, the chefs turned to event planner Heather McAdams of Anything Eventful, who, along with business partner Missy Moxley (Chef Wilson’s motherin-law), decorated her Palm City home to the nines for the occasion. Inside, the spirit of the season dazzled
throughout every room, from the formal dining area to the whimsical kids’ table to the festively busy kitchen bursting with aromas evoking memories of Christmases past.
Running the kitchen of a restaurant leaves little personal time during the holidays, so the chefs were more than happy to experience a few hours of relaxed joy. “I have to work really long hours during the season, including on Christmas Eve, so it’s nice for us all to get together with our favorite holiday dishes before things get too crazy,” says Wilson, who was accompanied by his wife (also named Taylor) and their daughter, 2-yearold Maebelle, adorably attired in a Janie and Jack Christmas frock.
Wilson comes from a large family, and these days he loves celebrating with his own growing family at Christmastime with many favorite dishes from both his and his wife’s childhoods. “We grew up with traditional turkey, ham, prime rib, and lots of great pies and cookies,” says the chef, who was born and raised in the Dallas area before moving to Martin County 10 years ago to open The Gafford. “Our Christmases were always grand and over-the-top with way too much food!”
For the evening’s potluck, Wilson prepared herb-crusted prime rib au jus and an assortment of freshly baked breads. He also brought a scrump tious banana pudding in honor of his wife’s memories of the special desserts her family enjoyed during the holidays.
For his part, Chef Stocks paid homage to both sets of grandparents with his side selections of double bacon brussels sprouts with pickled mustard
seeds and a potato pavé. “I was born and raised in Stuart, and I have such fond memories of my grandparents,” he says. “One set is from Germany, and the other is from southern Kentucky, and I like to continue preparing the dishes they made for us while adding my own touches.”
For example, his German grandparents might have prepared a traditional European beef on Christmas Eve, while his Kentucky grands cooked a more relaxed Christmas Day meal of ham and collard greens. Chef Stocks likes to raise the bar on those food memories. “With the brussels sprouts on the German side, I elevated the recipe by adding double bacon,” he says. “And from what I remember about my family’s scalloped potatoes, I created a more refined version, a potato pavé, for a great side dish.”
Before he was owner of District Table & Bar, Stocks was accus tomed to working on Christmas Day. Now that he can make his own rules, he prefers to let his employees enjoy the holiday away from the job. “I like to give my staff Christmas Day off,” he says. “It’s nice for all of us to get to be with our families.”
Chef Ferretti, who came to Chef’s Table three and a half years ago from Senigallia, Italy, a port town on Italy’s Adriatic Coast, spent 25 years in the kitchens of Michelin-star restaurants after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America. For this special dinner, he prepared a charcuterie board filled with imported Ital ian meats and cheeses, tortellini en brodo (a traditional Italian Christmas soup), and a tasty Italian rotolo con Nutella for dessert.
“I loved the Italian tortellini soup at Christ mastime when I was a boy, so I knew I wanted to prepare it for this event,” Ferretti says of the dish that is typically made with a flavorful capon broth and offered on Christmas menus in Italy. “What I enjoyed most about the holiday as a boy was the gift giving, all of the family fun, and of course the food.”
To help bring the “merry” to its fullest potential, mixologist George Olsen
created a few quintessential Christmas cocktails. “I design drinks based on the colors of the event and the food being served,” says Olsen. “I just look around and gather my ideas.”
For this fete, Olsen came up with three signature drinks: a
DECK THE HALLS!
Hibiscus Mimosa, made with elderflower hibis cus syrup, hibiscus blossom, and Champagne; an Allspice Rum Old-Fashioned, using Allspice Dram liqueur, 21-year-old Eldorado rum, orange bitters, and rosemary skewered blackberry garnish; and a simple bourbon poured with the very fine 10-year Old Rip Van Winkle Kentucky bourbon. Everyone mingled over cocktails as the chefs put the finishing touches on the dishes they had prepared for the night’s festivities. The evening was a special treat to be sure, each having the opportunity to indulge in one another’s delicious creations, and one that likely won’t come again during the busy holiday season. It’s back to their respective kitchens after this, where they will cook up tasty dishes for the rest of us. But tonight, they toast and take some time to celebrate the holidays together. ❖
The home’s stunning holiday decor was pulled together by two longtime friends who recently partnered in a new design biz
For years, both Heather McAdams and Missy Moxley have loved to decorate their individual homes and often would talk about their shared love of design. Last year, they finally got down to business and joined forces to launch the Treasure Coast event planning company Anything Eventful.
“We have been friends for years and always wanted to start an event company together,” says Moxley, who handles the business side of things. “Heather is creative and design-oriented, so she is in charge of most of the decor at our events. We both have a pas sion for event planning and especially holiday entertaining.”
When McAdams agreed to host this chefs’ holiday gathering in her Palm City home, she and Moxley wasted no time getting the house in holiday-ready condition. In fact, the duo started decorating for the event back in July. “Heather and I both love Christmas, and she is so talented at decorating, so we were excited to loan her house for the holiday dinner that my son-inlaw [Taylor Wilson] and the other chefs were cooking up,” says Moxley. “It was such fun to decorate, and we went all out!”
McAdams and Moxley transformed the home into a winter wonderland, beginning with a pink and silver wreath welcoming guests at the door. Once inside the home, guests were greeted with both an adult Christmas tree and a smaller children’s tree in the dining area. The white-trimmed adult tree by the dining table was filled with white magnolias, giving off a sweet, soft vibe. The mini white children’s tree (put up for Chef Wilson’s daughter, Maebelle) across the room was adorned with soft lighting, glittery ribbon, and animal and bell ornaments. Vintage toys and beautifully wrapped gifts completed the vignette.
In the living room, amid cabinet displays of lighted miniature trees and collectibles, walls filled with Santa art, and side tables piled with Christmas books, stood a tall family tree. The branches were strewn with personal family ornaments collected over the years. “Heather even popped presents throughout the branches as an unexpected surprise,” Moxley points out. “She finished it with cute polar bears perched atop a burlap tree skirt.”
Across the room were two more holiday trees, each symbolic in its own way. A tall, white tree twinkling with lights was deco rated with lollipops and colorful doughnut and ice cream cone ornaments honoring McAdams’ fond memories of trips to the ice cream parlor with her uncle. Next to it, a small gumdrop tree was created in honor of McAdams’ “sweets-loving” daughter.
In a nook of the kitchen, McAdams designed a unique pink tree highlighted with blue and gold ornaments, gold magnolias, and royal blue and white ribbon. “I crowned this one with tiaras,” she says. Another nook is filled with angels and Christmas china.
When it came time to enjoy dinner, guests gathered around a lovely holiday tablescape. Gold and white geometric porcelain plates sat atop sea sponge–colored chargers, with matte gold flatware, gold-rimmed crystal goblets, and sparkly rhinestone napkin holders. A garland swag centerpiece picked up the beau tiful pinks and whites in the surrounding wreaths and trees.
With the finest food and cocktails and a gorgeous ambience, nothing was spared to make this holiday party a night to remember. “Decorating the house was a labor of love for us,” says Moxley. “We would do anything for our kids, and we wanted to make this Christmas scene really special.”
