When it came time to buy a vehicle, what made you choose your Porsche and is this your first Porsche (if not please detail prior Porsche's): Ever since high school, I have always loved Porsches, but never thought that I could afford one. My first car as a teenager was a Triumph Spitfire convertible, so I naturally gravitated into looking to buy a Spitfire. However, it wasn’t until my wife saw a 911 Cabriolet for sale online and said, “what about owning one of those?” Come to find out, a used Porsche was in my price range so a brand-new search for Cabriolets began. It wasn’t until many months later that I finally found one that I liked! A one owner, a 2002, Porsche 911, with only 64,500 miles, and came with a full-service history, I knew that I had found my one true car. Even better, when I went to see the car for the first time, I fell in love with the color, Meridian Silver. This car couldn’t get any better, so I became a Porsche owner who was loving life. What encouraged you to join the Porsche Club of America: Friends of mine are in the club, and I thought it would be a great way to participate in events. Plus, the amount of resources available are so worth every penny. 10
